We just returned from our fifth visit to Negril Jamaica and our seventh visit to the country. We fell in love with Negril and particularly Seven Mile Beach in 2007 on our first trip. We loved it so much we later returned with 50+ our friends & family to get married at sunset on the beach.

Negril is beautiful but...this resort was the worst for service we have ever been to. And yes we have been to over 20 all inclusives during the past 20 years. The food was only average at best. I have never been to an all inclusive with no tipping and I believe this to be the reason for horrible service. Some employees were pleasant but the majority were only there temporary until better jobs could be found. Luckily we are not heavy drinkers because trying to get a drink at any time was like pulling teeth. This makes it very profitable for the resort and hence the no tipping. Our visit was the last 10 days of November 2019. On another note one of the best resorts we have been to was Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay, will be returning there again.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. We have stayed at three of the four Couples properties in Jamaica over the years and as repeat customers. It was always a great time.
How did this one compare to the other places you stayed in Negril? Reviews seem to be hit or miss, especially on nightlife (lack of) and age of resort
I've been hearing the sand fleas are bad. Did you experience that?
Was all of that included? Or did you pay extra for the activities (mostly wondering about the private boat ride at sunset and private dinner)
Sorry for the late reply, those are extras. Sometimes you can get packages that include one of these types of experiences.

En la ciudad de Negril ,se encientran los Resort más exclusivos ,incluído el Hedonissen ,para los que gusten de conocer nuevas parejas y aventuras a la imaginación ,hay otros como el Swept Away ,para parejas ,quienes gusten algo más cálido de ambiente más natural y rústico con canchas de tennis , paseos en bicicletas ,camaran cruise party con tripulsción amigable ,cantsntes de musica reggae bailes " Limbo " y visita nadando hacia la famisa Cueva "Joseph's Cave " donde se folmó la película " 20.000 Leguas de Viaje Submarino "u en loz Cruceros de la tarde se podrá ver el famoso "Rick's Cafe" y el faro de Negril
,buceo y excursiones a caballo ( Horseback riding Babo's Stable al monte donde está el lugar espiritual donde habitan el grupo religioso y habitantes de esa área los raftafariam que cultivan plantas de interés ,vegetales y frutas ¡¡ Interesante ¡¡ ,también hay excursion Safari en Boat Tour/YS Fall excursión en bote ( 1/1/2 hra de viaje ) por el Black River ,donde observará ,aves migratorias propias de Jamaica y cocodrilos asoleándose y pantanos " Mangrove " ( almuerzo jamaiquino incluído ) despues nade en las aguas refrescantes de "YS FALLS y parsda en la Avenida Bambu,( donde puede tomat bellas fotos ) entre otras Dunns River falls Ocho Ríos las Cataratas de Dunn River para recién casados ,son bellas y majestuosas y ecursiones a las haciendas ,antiguas plantaciones históricas donde se hacían los destilados de ron ,por los esclavos en el período británico y visitas a la Majestuosa hacienda Rose Hall de imponente fachada en la vía North Coast Highway donde vivía la malvada matriarca ,que mató a varios esposos y gobernó el Estado con mano de hierro inmortalizada en la obra de George de Lisser en The White Witch of Rose Hall , entre otros visitas al Club de Golf ,y One Day Trops ( Obteniendo una Visa Especial ,ACuba por un día ,visitas al fabuloso Castollo El Morro y observe el maravilloso paisaje desde la Sierra Maestra y el Museo de Piratas,las Destilerias de Ron Caney"

Whats better Couples Negril or Couples Swept away??
@@floydkozak119 I've been to both and love them both. Couples Negril is much smaller and intimate. I noticed a lot of regulars would return and meet friends. Couples Swept Away is larger and the beach front is amazing.I would say the beach is better at Couples Swept Away. Either one is great. If I had to choose, I would choose Swept Away. We are going back there this summer. .
Unless you like roaches- pick somewhere. Place is run down and dirty. That makes the beach not worth it imo
