Being an introvert myself, I understand that social situations, even if they are enjoyable, will eventually drain my energy. When War Horse was talking about having a four hour limit, I really related to that. Unenjoyable social situations can drain my batteries in ten minutes. So I have to make a quick exit. Parties are a good example of that. Rather than coming up with excuses to leave, I just avoid parties all together.

The interesting thing is, the more that I'm getting into this whole misanthropy lifestyle, the more people I'm attracting in my life that have the same view points. Kinda like getting a new car that you don't think anyone has and all of a sudden, every time you turn the corner, someone has your make and model car! I also never knew that I even grew up with a misanthrope but recall how standoffish this person would be when we were in school but was very open with me. Most people viewed them as weird and even I questioned their behaviour from time to time but thought it was pretty cool that I was one of the SELECTED ones they dealt with. Well I just spoke with them a few days ago and we actually conversed about misanthropy and they were quite aware of the term and it clicked! "NO WONDER THEY WERE SO INTROVERTED AND DEALT WITH ONLY A SELECTIVE GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS BACK IN OUR HIGH SCHOOL DAYS!" It was super refreshing to know that I'm not the only person out here whom is worn the fuck out with people and society. I mean, is a monk whom decides to give up a worldly lifestyle, INCLUDING PEOPLE, whom is in search of spirituality and self, that retreats in the mountains for YEARS with absolutely no influence from people and society, INSANE just because they want control over their MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT? I've never read any reports regarding monks going crazy and throwing themselves off the edge of cliffs because their in dire need of HUMAN CONTACT! In fact, I've heard monks testify that their lives have greatly improved since leaving that archaic lifestyle behind. Whatever that society considers not the "NORM" will always be taboo for people whom DON'T understand. If gaining control of my own self and my life are unhealthy then something is ENTIRELY fucked up with this picture! I've learned about human existence and so on from the time I was in grade school and I'm actually bored with it all. I know there's other life out there and that's what I'm interested in now. God and Spirituality, Creativity, THY SELF, animals, nature and much needed space away from humans to get MY shit together. I'm actually enjoying the fact that history is is kinda repeating itself in a more modern fashion and let's just say, "THANK GOD FOR TEXTING!"

Bitches can't stay in their own lanes and they just have to merge into another's. I had to snap out on two of my coworkers because I caught them talking shit about me behind my back. I was just telling a mate of mine this last week, how I am just switching off people as each year goes by. This is the second video that has me thinking that its meant to be this way for me. I hate parties now, hate having lots of people over to the house for a BBQ. Just bought a water feature for my garden for solace quiet moments, running water makes me feel relaxed. At times I think whats it all for, life ect. Maybe there is no answer to that question, but sure as hell makes you think. Works getting me down lately, but I enjoy my days off for myself. I use to call out bullshit, but now I just say, why give a damn, I'm not a crusader. My main thing I want is just to be left alone in most situations, let me be!
That's why I bought that second fountain a few months back. I need that solitude to let go of all that BS out there. The world it seems has gone totally insane.

I agree with basically everything War Horse said except the dog thing. Dogs are just dopey, noisey, dirty and expensive. Not to mention they are basically the epitome of gluttony. I could never own a dog because I find their behavior intolerable and not all that different from humans. I have a cat and it seems to fit more with my nature. I don't have to clean up after it, it stays outside, and it isn't needy. When I work in the garden she lays near by and watches me, sometimes she sits on my lap on the porch, other than that she has her own life to live. Living in the woods helped me alot. There is something about trees and wildlife that calms the spirit. The only way I'd ever let anyone in is if they were exactly the same as me. Right or wrong, it's all I can handle.
