Yo dude how bout showing us where to get that adapter from the hub motor to the tester. you nonchalantly said i have a cable adapter. whered u get it man ?
has he responded to any of these comments? WE all need to know about the adapter! this unit is no good without an adapter
Great little tester. I agree, much easier than trying to stare at a multimeter. Take it a step further and show something failing and how one might fix it and then see how now it passes. Thanks
that is a very useful tool please stock it . my ebike was in the shop for repair or 2 weeks for something i could have fixed my self .
i got my ebike in may 2018 from a Montreal dealer ,your channel has demystified the building repair and every thing i should have known before i bought it.
So I can't find the adaptor cable, where does one get that, to me without that this thing is almost useless.

Where did you get the Hub Motor adapter?
Kyle having such a diagnostic device, make perfect sense. I have a Rad City that only has 162 miles on it. A month ago, I went for a ride on a very hot day, and parked the bike in the sun for 10 minutes. When I went to start out again, the PAS, nor the throttle worked . Rad was good with their response, sent me a controller and a wire harness, but still not working. Now waiting for a new motor and wheel. Cars have an OBD 2 diagnostic device, and it make perfect sense to have a bike diagnostic device. Thank you.

I think that would be a great thing to have especially if you don't have a lot experience working on your ebike. If the cost is expensive maybe 2 or more friends could chip in together to purchase it.

Any comments on ways to get around speed limiters on ebikes? I have a Badass Box 4 mounted on a E6000 shimano set up just waiting for a couple feet of snow to melt so I can test it out. Ha!

Hello Kyle. I will be glad when they make one of these for Hygo/Juliet conecters. For now I'm going to buy a couple of Hygo conecters and cut them in half to plug up and test them. Have a good day.

Relly like your videos learning a lot. Soon I am adding a second battery to my bike I’m going to set it up so that I can use it on both my bikes switch it back-and-forth so they’re both set up to except it quickly it is a triangle battery I am buying from Ali express. 52 V 20 amp hour I plan to use it on my hyper scrambler from Juiced bikes, And also hopefully swap it over to my lithium cycle super 73 Rose Ave. I would love to to see videos about adding new 2nd batteries and how to from you

Thanks for the video. Just one thing though, I'm currently having trouble with my pas sensor. My problem is that I dont know if the trouble is in the sensor or the controller. I didn't notice if your tester had an input to test the pas sensor itself, of the sensor circuit in the controller. Does it? Many thanks

Hi. I just got a Lectric Xp about a week ago and the back tire is locking up. I loosened my brake calipers and it will move about 2 feet freely and lock up again!
Hi thanks! A Q about the throttle we dont use in EU or some parts not. We speed up with the use of 1-5 voltage regulater and a switch from the pedals. and when you stop pedalling it stops. Will it fit for us that device you had there?

My ebike has a round 9 pin connector, so I guess I need to buy an adapter somewhere ? It takes over a month to receive one from Amazon. Also, why is there 9 pins, most ebikes only have 5 wires going to the motor ?

Great video. Question. I get the lights coming up on the controller tester. Phase wires are not connected, same as yours. Instead of rotating my wheel counter clockwise to get the 1-2 light pattern, I have to rotate wheel clockwise. I think that’s what you’re doing as well. Lights come on. Am I okay? Great tutorial.

I wish I knew how to use this on a EBO hub (Electric bike outfitters). Their rear wheel has a 7-9 pin DIN connector, and I have no pin-out guide to tell when what each pin leads to.
Ok if i understand correctly this tester is not plug n play with the connector's on the bike you need to make another cable with more basic connector's? Thank you

I bought one recently and I noticed the plugs aren't like mine do I need an adapter plus I'm not sure what to do with the red and black wires on the plugs.

I purchased a motor kit, 48v, 1000 w battery and connect but bike has a julet harness. Can this tool test wires inside the julet harness. Bike worked one day. Second day twisted throttle and front hub motor jutters back and forward. Wheel not fully spinning forward.

There seems to be quite a lot of misinformation about ebike motors. For example, the Rad Mini 4 in the USA has a 750W motor but they have 250W in the EU. On a forum I heard they are actually the same 750W motor but there is a "software limit" on the EU models. Is there a way to use this tester to confirm the actual Wattage of the motor?
I have a Sohoo ebike 3 months old, the display comes on briefly then goes off, error code 006. I purchased one of these units still waiting for it it arrive, do you think it might prove helpful diagnosing my problem?

CAN I HOOK UP 2 48 VOLT MOTORS WITH 2 BATTERYS WITH A BLENDER THAT HOOK UP 2 BATTERYS TO ONE MOTOR. THE CENTER PORT ON THE BLENDER WILL HAVE A 3 WAY Y SPLITER TO GO TO THE TWO CONTROLERS FOR THE TWO MOTORS. SOME ONE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BLOW UP MY TRIKE IF I DO THAT. Outstanding video, but and the tester looks great. However, you only briefly mentioned the adapter cable. That, so far, has been my main problem in testing my broken ebike. I have a Cyclamatic that won't start. I have a meter but I can't figure how to make the connections, which, on the ebike, are extremely small. Know where to get that adapter cable?

Dude why did you not show testing the controller?
I have one and must be doing something wrong because I connected a brake level that works with it and nothing. I know it works because I disconnected from a bike and connected it to the tester and nothing.

Great idea, but it's not a universal tester. The plugs won't work on my bike.
