Great video. This is exact reason I stopped using social media over 6 months ago. I watched Dr Huberman's 2h long video about dopamine and it's role in addiction, and gave up all my bad habits in one go (including sugar). I feel like a completely different person.

Absolutely. Presenting it in the manner that you have, is a stunning comment on the malady of having a cell phone constantly stuffed in front of your face. Having taught martial arts now for over 50 years, this has never been an issue because of the forced intensity of the discipline of class structure. Your example of people watching a movie and yet constantly checking their phone is pretty sad. They may get the plot, but they miss the artistry of the movie, and in a more macro sense: the artistry of life itself. The solution I share with folks is a process of replacement as opposed to change. But I think your thoughts would be a much easier methodology for someone to follow on their own, whereas mine really does require my involvement. As I mentioned to all the folks I recommended your video to: it's an interesting discussion topic not just for traders, but for everyone to be aware of. Thanks for another great presentation.
