I’ve just bought one of these Horotec tools, and I must say, it is really well made, solid and secure, and does the job very well; I have a Tag Heuer Link WT5111 in need of a new pendant tube, and I fitted the nearest tube I could get: it was not the proper part, having a shorter threaded tube than what was needed, but it works for now; the Horotec tool working very precisely in fitting this part.If I can eventually get ever get correct part for this watch I know I have the best tool to fit this part.
Thanks for the video. I'm buying this tool and I found your video talking about it and it helped me a lot. Please record another video explaining more about the details of using this tool, as your experience will help us. I wish you success in your work and in your life. Your videos are very good!
If it has threading or a shape on the inside that looks like a tool is supposed to allow it to screw out. it's a screwed-in tube (see pictures of Rolex's triplock crown tube). If it's a perfect circle on the inside, it's friction fit
Hi sir, I want to replace my seiko diver tube, according to seiko it’s friction fitted hence entire case need to be replaced ( perhaps seiko monopoly ) May I know any similar tube and crown be fitted on my seiko or I need exact components?
If it is friction fitted ( which i suspect it is ) then it can be removed and a generic tube fitted in its place. Id seek the advice of your local watchmaker for the best course of action.

Stupid question, but how do you fit the tube back in?
How can we tell if the tube is friction fitted or screwed?
