Normally im not a fan of tuned "lowrider" style trucks. But this truck seems to be a perfect mix of not too tuned, therefore it still has a good stock W900 Look but the tuning is really well done on this one. Little things like that KW Logo on the fenders is a small thing but its really cool.
This is Bomb Truck. 😀 Great. Really really good truck. 💪chrome classics. That good interior.. I like this truck, a serious. More and more 👍 this man's.. Sorry for my English language.. 🤗 may be wrong writing. 😉Because I'm Russian man from Kazakhstan. 😊
Beautiful truck!! I noticed at the beginning the truck was sold by a Dean Willerton any relation to you?? Just noticed you mentioned your dad at the beginning sorry for that.
I miss driving older trucks, ill be buying a97 kw 900 next year to run chicken lighted and chromed out in texas⛟⛟⛟ beautiful rig, snowflakes know nothing of 18 gears of pleasure
What an awesome rig. Man, seeing your 900 brings back good memories for me personally.. My uncle owned a 1978 W900A when I was a kid, and I would spend my entire summer vacation on the road with him in his rig. His 900 had a series 71 V12 2stroke Detroit, too. I can still hear it now when my uncle would pull into my neighborhood to come pick me up. Those old Detroit engines had a very distinct, mean sounding, fast revving, whining sound... compared to how the engines sound in today's semi trucks. That's cool to see your revolver for the engine shut down.. my uncle had a awesome custom gear shifter in his KW 900A and it was cowboy style 6 shooter revolver. He had it rigged up to where the splitter was the trigger.. and if you wanted to split the gears you would pull the trigger.
I think this is as perfect as you can get with a truck. It’s not overly done with too much crap. Looks like a show truck but it works. Can’t beat that man. A looker and a runner. Thanks for uploading this. 👍
Great video Andy! Beautiful restoration. Towards the end of the video I couldn’t help but think, I was watching Big Rig Videos with Chris Fiffe. 😃 Love the videos Andy, keep them coming. 👍🏼
Damn that looks good. I’m a Kenworth W900 guy. Love that grill reminds me of the old W900A. I drive an 01 and a 05 W900L. The 2001, is a lowboy truck, the 2005 is a 75 ton rotator wrecker. Both have Caterpillar engines. Can’t beat the sound of a Caterpillar in a Kenworth... or a N14 Cummins. I like both motors but I’m a Caterpillar guy all the way. The power, torque, strength. It’s all there in the CAT engines. I enjoy the sound also. Love the engine brake.
The Kenworth Guy Awesome UA-cam man. I got Kenworth Hats, T shirt, Hoodies, I collect all that. CAT Hats, Cummins hats and clothes. I got all that. Got hats from CAT, I bought some from Chrome shops and stops. Also, I got this a lot I may change my UA-cam name because of it. My name isn’t Jackson. Jackson is a guitar brand that I play on all my life. I’m a guitar player and I play Jackson guitars. JacksonGeetar guy. Lol. The 97 is the year of my first truck I bought early Junior year of highschool. I still own that old truck. 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 12 valve Cummins. It also is a manual which I love even more. Crew cab long bed. Good truck. Bought it cheap for 3000$. I got it fixed up and I’ve built it over the years... the truck now makes almost 1000hp with twin turbos. I’ve dragged raced the truck before and it’s been on the DYNO of course. I have that truck and my 2018 Dodge dually. Both of them I love they are awesome.
My pops had the exact same one but 94, ordered it with every bell and whistle you could get. Same real green as this but he also had the whole trailer done the same colour. His call sign POTTS
53 foot trailer with a 285 inch wheelbase base plated out of Manitoba . I have a 285 inch wheelbase with a 48 foot flatbed trailer , I know you can buy a permit but I always thought it was a 75 foot length limit . Unless you can buy a over length yearly permit , I am out of Ontario and know it can be done there . Just wondering if it can be done across all provinces . I know you can have 272 inch wheelbase with 53 foot trailer and be legal in Ontario and Quebec without yearly over length permits .
If you can get the loan or line of credit in the long run it’s honestly cheaper to redo a older rig to new spec. Redo the Interior and run new wiring. Sand blast and repaint, drop in a rebuilt c15, n14, Detroit pick your poison all are deadly, new trans and rock and roll. Can do it all for less than new if you buy smart and do the work or most yourself. That is not going crazy on custom shit.
I think it must be a fashion thing but imho these trucks are over restored with too much of everything. A little bit of restraint looks way classier to me. over restored trucks with everything thrown at them look like fairground rides.
Great , super great . I know the work I do to restore cars , I can imagine you . What an awesome satisfaction of your self job done . Enjoy. That’s my favorite Tracktor to own .
Gouegous machine. Her daddy's gotta be so proud of her... Does someone know what the knob under the turning light lights switch @12:15 is for? T.I.A. :)
