I think these beetles are nicer than ants and spiders tbh. They don't bite and they look fancy as pets ✨✨✨
lmao, what are you, 6?

@@isaacksosa2446 I'm half american thank you XD
Amazing footage❤
Can we take a moment that this guy put this thing on his hand, and we wouldn't even dare to touch a mosquito we killed.
Hahaha
@the cool pancake oof, i would die by now.
I've smashed centipedes bare foot, they are so hard that nothing happens to them (they were a plague in my house), and I've picked scorpions (to take photos of it and let them go afterwards), these ain't that bad and I really want one.
i touched a random insect on my bed which was dead
What you mean? I catch alive mosquitoes and pull off all of their legs so they can't have a good landing.
I love how their larva dont do anything and just stay there laying unable to move because they’re huge and have mini legs
It’s like little T-Rex arms, nature just decided to give them the bare minimum of what can be a “limb”
@UC95l3p0akaOAJDNyRFQJ1ug god: welcome to existence
beetle larvae: uhm there’s a problem
god: shut the fuck up
They seem helpless because they're cutworms. Those beetle larvae live in the soil and eat plant matter especially roots, which they nip off with those strong jaws; thus the moniker "cutworm".
"eeeeeh do not bite me I am not a leaf!"
@@petuniasevan Thank you! I was wondering how these guys get so massive with, at least at a glance, a body that wasn't designed to hunt any sort of prey
Beetle: "EXISTS"
Bear Grylls: GOOD AFTERNOON
I can see you like sushi
Bonjour
If the Lion King taught me anything, you could easily get used to eating these things eventually, and they'll taste delicious!
This is night 🚶
it feels nice watching this how life's been created and how it expands
Of all the bugs, this is the boi. I love him.
This man is brave enough to hold a beetle almost the size of his hand

Fun fact: these beetles are actually classified as worms when they hatch and grow, then they evolve to the beetle, then they are actual beetles, and they are losing population, so please help these unique creatures
Help them what they’re terrifying jc
@@dankas5635 If you can't help them then just leave them alone and ask others who are also terrified to do the same instead of hurting them.
Agree
I found them around my house
Sorry but i just killed 2 when i dug a hole in my uncle yard
Pro Tip: Avoid amputation by leaving large bugs alone.
My reaction in order:

The fear is still there but so is the understanding which leaves a wonderful interaction for all life involved. It's the Great apes that claim to be human whose actions with nature are misplaced.

how long do they live?
@@eduardotrochez1215 adults can live up to a few weeks or a few months. They don’t do much as adults but lie in the substrate waiting to die or to mate.
