Always a treat to go on this trip with you, man! Truly going to miss it next year, but here's hoping we can work out some of the other trips we've been wanting to do instead 👍
34:33 Damn that is art right there. Clint looking like he's in an Outkast album cover (Or he's about to drop the defining Trip Hop album of the decade) Amazing video Luke, your vids always inspire me to dust off my film cameras again
“It’s great to be alive” was something that the late Chicago DJ (WXRT) Lin Brehmer would always say on air, so kinda neat you started this video with that.
The 'Goth Target' used to be Carson, Pirrie, Scott, another former Chicago institution like Sears and Montgomery Ward. The building was designed by Louis Sullivan, another famous Chicago architect.
Before this video I was watching some math stuff, mostly about the golden ratio and how it occurs in art and architecture since ancient times. Now everywhere I look I can see it in your pictures and how good you are at catching the views and all. Really enjoyed it, also I didn't know Chicago is such a nice and modern place.
Chicago, loop area nice size not so stretched like manhatten, Newryork with it´s suburbs. That photo stuff you process at home ? Wonder their still some photo maerial availble ! Photo, video mixed display very nice as their´s always so much waisted time, sneak in.!
This is really excellently filmed, and I love the photography mixed into it. A really nice contrast. What camera are you using and what film editing software, may I ask?
Glad you enjoyed it! For the most part everything was shot on phones, with the exception of the talking head bits and the convention stuff at the end - that was all on the Sony FX30. I use Premiere to edit

38:55 VCFMW coverage...Luke, fantastic video! Thank you!!!
Hancock Tower was always an underrated destination when folks would visit me in Chicago. Go to the top and have a drink. Happy you got to enjoy it!
26 rolls! Dang, I should have sent more film holders your way. Amazing videos and photos. I look forward to this video recap every year now.
God, the pictures are so beautiful
Thank you!
Loved this! Really enjoyed the whole flow and how you told the stories!
Hey Luke, awesome photos. You've got a great eye for a scene
Awesome, I was soooo hoping you'd make a video about the photos you took!
That photo at 37:29 has a very Severance, or even the Shining, vibe to it. I want that as a desktop background on my work PC.
That was pleasant to watch! For me you have one of the best film photography channels! (Nice Nikon F you got, you lucky ... ;-)
I sure did, Matt was super generous. Glad you enjoyed the watch!

Nice report on your visit..! I love the music in your video. No playlist available, by any chance? Keep up the work!
No playlist, but I might put one together. Everything was pulled from Epidemic Sound, and they do have most if not all of their stuff on Spotify
great companion piece to a great companion piece
Very nicely done!
First Blood is statistically accurate.
Very enjoyable
How’d you and Clint come to live in different states?
28:33 that shot on the stairs is fucking incredible
Thank you! Might just be my favorite of the whole bunch
Great as always. I hope you avoided the COVID your brother brought home.
Managed to steer clear, somehow!
I take it you guys grew up listening to jazz? Love the music you guys use.
