Hello Angela, thank you so much for taking me on your wonderful walk. A few minutes walking with you in my beloved England. I watched an older video where you talk about your fears and the loss of your beloved dog. It hurts so much to lose a beloved animal:((. Our dog was like my third child to me and it still hurts after many years. I can understand that so well. I too have always struggled with fears. I did a year-long mindfulness academy last year. It really helped me to react a little less in difficult situations. Meditation, which takes a while to work, also helps. And be grateful every day is so important. Please don't struggle with your weight. Enjoy something that is good for your soul:). We're having a difficult time at the moment because my husband has been diagnosed with a suspicious finding. We have to get through this until a biopsy is taken at the end of February . It is a long time to wait and brings a lot of anxiety that you have to deal with. The new blouse looks very pretty:). I'm sure it suits you very well and has a spring pattern. It's been snowing here and it's also nice to go for a walk in the snow. And with sunshine, it's a wonderful landscape. I'm looking forward to your next video. I wish you all the best and have a lovely day. Gabi ❤
Dear Gabi, thank you as always for your lovely support and kindness to me, I appreciate you so much. I’m so sorry to hear you have some worrying news to deal with, I’m hoping the appointment comes fast and that all will be very well 🙏🤗 (please do let me know in due course) you sound as though you’ve learnt ways to deal with stress/anxiety so that is wonderful. Your walks sound beautiful too, especially with the snow ❄️ I’m sending you a warm hug and positive thoughts, I hope you and your husband have a relaxing weekend 🥰
Such a lovely video, thank you for sharing your day. It was so relaxing to watch. We do put too much pressure on ourselves about so many things so your comment on being gentle with yourself resonated well. Your new blouse is beautiful. Take care. Xx
I found it so peaceful , much nicer than someone trying to explain which breaks the mood is the natural birdsong or quiet music. I’m nervous of trying to sell online with so many scammers about. Your blouse looked so pretty. Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunrise , not been too many of those for a while.
Thank you for this lovely video. I’m in love with your cottage ❤. January can feel overwhelming, I agree. Therefore I now think of it as a month of contemplation, rest, nourishing my body and feed my mind and soul with good books. And although I have to go to work and everything, it works for me. And then, in February of early March, as Spring will start to arrive, there will be a new kind of energy.
You are so welcome! Thank you for visiting with me 😊 I love your viewpoint, I must follow suit and try to read more too. I literally come ALIVE in spring, I’m so looking forward to having more light 🥰 I hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗
Hello Alison! Goodness we’re already half way through the month and I don’t know where the days go! We’ve had a busy few weeks for sure. And next weekend our children share their birthday, one will be 18 and one 21 eek 😱
Loved the area that you walk around. Yes decluttering is a great feeling. I gave my Keurig coffee maker to a friend, it was sitting on my counter collecting dust and taking up space. Just doing that makes you feel better about your kitchen counter. Thanks for sharing!
You do everything so mindfully and calmly - thank you for this video. Hope your back improves and good luck with the job hunting (sorry the other one didn't work out) in 2024. I find that Christmas adds more clutter to our house (largeish and already full!) which is my overwhelm every January. I'm tackling it now.
Fiona you’re so kind, thank you 😊 and I really enjoy sharing these snippets of life with you 🥰 oh yes I’m hoping the perfect little job comes along, although I always seem to have plenty to keep me busy 😂 my back is now behaving and I’ve been able to ditch the pain killers 🙏 my decluttering project is also ongoing!!! There is such a lot to do, I agree I feel overwhelmed a bit… it’s also a busy month as my children share a birthday, so they’re about to turn 18 & 21 on the same day so I’m trying to organise gifts and a weekend away… I’m also considering baking a cake 😂🫣🫣
Hello Helen! I’ve finally been able to ditch the painkillers! 😂 I’ve been busy this week trying to organise some gifts and surprises for the kids birthdays, they turn 18 & 21 both on the same day next weekend 🫣 hope you have a fab weekend lovely 🥰
This vlog touched my soul. I found tears in my eyes, as the words you wrote communed with mine. Sunrise and grounds are beautiful, thanks for the lovely walk! Restyling your drawers Marie’s way will make you feel much better about your space! Cheers 😂❤
Wow, thank you, this is such a wonderful comment for me to read this evening, I must apologise for not replying sooner! (Where do the days go!?) I’m so happy you’re here and I appreciate you 🤗
Hi Angela, A Happy New Year to you too. I have been watching all your video’s I have enjoyed them so much. I was so sorry to hear you lost your precious dog, and when you were walking today it must be so hard not having him with you. So difficult losing our furry companions, my cat was 21 yrs old and I still miss him every day, big hug to you 🤗. Yes decluttering! Did a lot last year so need plenty of motivation to start again ! Yes I too am a Spring Gal! Struggle with darkness of winter, but seeing the sunrise you captured helped, I am in the South West Uk and at least now it is colder and brighter and not so wet! Hope to see you soon, take care, Suze. 🤗
Hey Suze! Wishing you the best year too! Thank you for all your kind words and support, I really do appreciate it 😊 I honestly think losing a beloved pet is so hard, some days are easier and then all of a sudden it hits you 🥲 you’re right, out walking doesn’t feel the same without him…but Spring is not too far away and it is my favourite time of the year so lots to look forward to 🌸 wishing you a relaxing weekend 🥰
You have beautiful countryside surrounding you. Good idea with the faux flowers. I can't move my clothes in the wardrobe as they're so tightly packed, so it's definitely time to declutter. Most of my clothes are from charity shops, so don't mind moving them on after a while. More vids please.😊
Angela, Even in January the English countryside is so beautiful. I just learned about the Vinted ebay in Britain (no fees to sell pre-owned things!) I wish we had that here in the U.S. I enjoyed seeing your post office - all automated - so modern. I wish spring wasn't so late here, where I live. We don't even have daffodils yet and it's April 23rd! Hopefully your spring is just around the corner. I do so enjoy your videos. Thank you for doing them. Suzi
Hey Suze! I hope by now you’re into Spring weather, it’s been amazing here for the last few days, everything in the garden is starting to bloom, roses, foxgloves, wisteria, and soon the peonies! Such a lovely time 🪴🌿🌸 yes, Vinted is a great way to motivate decluttering, funnily enough I’ve got some pieces to upload this week… I heard that eBay are getting rid of their sellers fees for clothes..? Not sure whether that’s in the US too….? Wishing you wonderful week ahead x x
Thank you for sharing once again. You say it’s bitterly cold & yet everything is so green! I realize that’s due to England’s humidity. I live in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains of western Canada. A couple nights ago we hit -40C. That’s cold! It’s deceptive though because it’s dry which makes it easier to dress for & it doesn’t seem to creep into your bones. We have blue sky & sunshine, lots of snow cover all winter, but the only green is the evergreen trees. I won’t see any green in my garden until April. That’s why I love to visit you here. ❤ Thank you for giving a much appreciated gift of green. 🌳🌱🌿
Like I said, it’s a very different kind of cold. Eastern Canada where I’ve visited in winter is much mor humid. Their -10 feels like the -25 I’m used to dealing with.
Oh my, -40, I wouldn’t cope 😂 I think I was so cold watching the sunrise because it was at the top of a hill and the wind was brutal 🥶😱 as I walked downhill, out of the wind, it was much better 😊 I’d imagine where you live is stunning, we are desperate for some pretty snow here… so funny how we all want to experience the opposite of what we have. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, I appreciate you being here 🥰
Exactly! I’m such a baby when I’m cold 🥶 😂 with it going to minus this week I’m walking around in so many layers, I look as if I’ve put on a stone in weight 😂
I have a friend who lives in Ottawa and her outdoor clothing is amazing, she’s so prepared! Us brits are useless 😂 same when it snows, the country grinds to a halt haha
