Every time I see these projects I think why didn't we do this 20-30 years back. We would have been already a 5 trillion or maybe more economy by now. But better late than never. I hope better sense prevails and people continue voting BJP in power because let's be honest no government matches BJP in infrastructure development and that too at a rapid pace.

Need south-west, south-east dedicated corridors too. Cheaper the transportation cost, cheap the overall cost of product. China has just 8% transportation cost. India's is around 14. Even if India is able to bring it down to 10, it will be very good.

Railways are very important for India. Every sector shouldbewell connected by Railways
These were planned 20 years before. due to some hurdles it was stopped during 2004 to 2014. so no problem it has to get completed within 2024.
It was approved in 2008 and work started in 2016 and it will be commissioned by 2023
This projects we need complete before 2024...
When will sdfc projects start construction? When will the plan for golden quadrilateral complete??...

This was absolutely essential . Huge trucking was being used to ferry millions of tons of imports landing on Western coast ports JNPN , Mundra etc to the northern India consumption centers . In addition huge transport of local goods between western India and Northern India was done by trucking which is very inefficient and causing huge pollution.

This is extremely necessary! We also need public and private sector undertakings in ocean shipping - right from manufacturing containers to managing shipping lines. Last year was horrible for exporters since all shipping lines and container holders (around 5-6 companies around the world in total like Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, etc) used their monopoly to raise praises and cause a virtual blockade. It was also for the CCP blood money. A national carrier is a need of the hour!!
