    India is building mega solar parks.
    India has 4 mega solar out of top 10 in the world. Sooner or later it will end up dominating the whole solar sector. Many ultramega solar parks are under construction and the list will keep on getting bigger as India rapidly shifts to renewable energy.

    This is what happens when a professional party comes into power. Remember, coalition governments are nothing but a coalition of family owned parties. India for the last 70 years was ruled by a handful of 15 family owned parties using the coalition tactic to win votes. Naturally they would look after their own interests instead of the larger country's interests.

      And religious hate
      I live in the US - sick of the media here that only shows hate against Hindus
      India is the only country in the world where the top 3 movie stars are Minority Muslims
      In all other countries minorities cannot even get a foot in the door sometimes
      And here India has given them an opportunity to move to the top
      And guess what the Atlantic, a liberal magazine did?
      Made that a crime!
      These Muslim superstars had some bad comments about them in twitter and social media & that the Atlantic took and used it to preach hate against Hindus
      Of course in all other countries all movie stars are loved and not one gets any bad comments
      Sick of this religious hate

    India could expand its solar generation by many folds. Only problem is ever changing govt policies. For instance, state govt electricity boards which sells a unit electricity at Rs. 10-16 to industries, want to purchase solar generated electricity at mere Rs 2-3 only. So big pool of private investors r not willing to invest in full way. If govt rationalise its policies, nearly 50% of our need could be satisfied by solar power in next 10 yrs itself.

    Geunine question .... Is there a way to develop these parks in areas where we don't have to compromise on green land? The areas look like they can be used for farming and plantation. Maybe create them over roads. That way there will be shade under and no extra land will be required.

    • @rupu8467
      @rupu8467 2 роки тому +15

      Actually all the projects which are shown in this Video are drought prone areas! Like Rajasthan one is adjacent to desert! Karnataka one is facing drought from past 5 decades that farmer's can't able to grow their crops! But by this project they rented all the farmers land and giving farmers some amount of money per acre! And about Andhra ones(In Kurnool and Ananthapur) they are red soil areas where they can't grow crops! And yeah we can install solar on car parking tops etc! And maybe in future we'll get technology to install transparent solar panels on skyscrapers too!

    • @LingaReddyA
      @LingaReddyA 2 роки тому +5

      @@rupu8467 completely agree with you,
      one solution to minimise using land area is the floating solar parks on large water bodies[reservoirs],which could be handy as it prevents the evaporation of water and the water also helps in maintaining optimum temperatures of solar cells which makes them more efficient and the water could be used to clean the cells' surface.
      One such project of 100MW capacity was set to operationalise in telangana in May 2021.
      The other solution is to set up the solar cells over the network of canals[not floating on water],which was already followed in Andhra Pradesh and some other states,the idea was mostly successful[though some drawbacks as the facing of cells depends on the direction of the canal,but the efficient gains were more] as some state US also announced that they were also going to follow the same model inspired by our success

    Why don't we make all the roof tops of factories cinema theatre, malls, railway station, platorms, In fact wherever we can it should be made mandatory.
    Lets subsidy heavily for individual homes so that almost all should Instal it.
    Intead of using huge tracts of land or building additional power station.
    We should phase out nuclear☢️☢️☢️ power immediately as it may be liw cost yet the risk remains.
    Advanced countries like 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵 Japan USSR and God knows how many un reported accident s have shown as the vv dangerous sides of Nuclear☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️ energy.

    Let's put solar panels on every home, business and covered parking rooftop and switch to electric vehicles making nearly everything we do solar powered while completely decentralizing our power supply and empowering everyone as power generation owners.
    Solar power is CHEAPER and electric vehicles are soon to be CHEAPER to make and already are considerably CHEAPER to maintain and operate, especially if charged from your own solar power.
    A 3-5 year ROI (return on investment) for a solar array that will generate power for decades is a no-brainer and the panels can even be made locally too.

      We have 29,000,000 million homes in our country and every one should definitely have at least a 3kw or 4kw installed on their roof. Avarage generation of electric in this country for 1 home is between 2,500kwh to 3,000kwh every year depending on the direction of the house, and we live in a very cold and cloudy country. If everybody agreed to do this we could potentially generate 72,500,000,000kwh or 72twh of solar energy from homes alone, that would be a dream. Well done India, you're setting a great example. Let's all work together to provide a greener future for the next generation. That's the least we can do!!!

    Chyenas solar panels must be banned on Indian soil. All new Indian companies factories starting this must get tax breaks to counter chyena system were they pay back their local companies 30% on export thus beating our Indian companies (highly TAXED system).
    The tax on imported panels must be in lieu of our local taxes. Jago India Jago.

      No , off grid need batteries. On grid doesn't much of storage capacity
