Wow wow wow Peter .What a stunning shot, and what a beautiful place. Thank you for letting us share the adventure. I see that in the end, the shorts had to give way to long pants, even if they were underneath.
No, I picked the lightest. The Phase One XF and Schneider lenses are much heavier than the Phase One A-Series and Rodenstock glass. But of course you're right, they were a lot heavier than my GoPros! :>)
@@MrRus67 I thought you were having a laugh - I wish I were as young as the bloke with the red backpack. But it's pretty easy, really. I'm the handsome one!
Peter Eastway 🤪😂😂 of course!!! Looks like it was a awesome experience, I had to watch it again to finally make you out. Thx for replying Peter 🙏🏽 Hope you have a wonderful week mate.
Bloody Hell...my feet are sore just watching. Pter, you know this is why they invented helicopters? The least you could is get that poor man a decent pair of trousers.
Interesting comment about helicopters - they are a no go, of course, although I understand there's now a concession in place for special one-off drops and pickups (upon application only). However, I think the reason I like my photo so much is because of all the personal baggage attached - the fact that I walked all the way there and back. It could be a crap shot, I don't know, but in my eyes, I will always like. Thank god photography is so subjective :>)
This is excellent!!!
He had many beautiful images for the Wilderness Society, in calendars and sensational books.
I agree with the previous comments -- wow - wow! Well done Peter for doing something I could not have done even when I was young!

I confess I'm not sure what Callum had under his wet weather gear :>)
What an epic trip! Also one of my favourites inspirational photographers as well. Seemed like an opportunity for many great shots on the journey.
Nice Peter, I'm pleased you got to that very special place.
Looks like hard work Peter...with all those camera's you picked the heaviest!
