NYC has a crisis of animals being used in sacrifices, probably related to vodoo. When Springfield residents discussed hearing about pets and ducks disappearing, people believed it, given Haiti's history of vodoo, thefts etc. We should send troops to help stabilize Haiti. If it is safe, then businesses and aid workers will return. There would probably be thousands of Americans helping and living there, if only they didn't have to fear for their lives.
Look at some of the video(s) of some of the beaches in New York state....
People walking the beach, finding animal heads, piles of bananas, and other fruit... Put in "weird" ritualistic patterns in the sand....

Literally watched a video of cats on a grill in Ohio this morning. It was a year old. There is a difference in rare, and false. Lots of videos on line from Springfield residents complaining about missing pets and even evidence of eating. Could they all be lying? Sure, but that would not make JD a liar for pointing it out.

The mayor & chief of police say they haven't been getting calls about pets being stolen. Vance says he's talked to many of his constituents claiming it happened to them. This makes sense because if your pet was stolen, you wouldn't call the police. You'ed call your Senator?
If you listen to the town hall meetings residents have made these claims. Residents also express that they feel the police have been unresponsive in even serious property damage matters. Why would anyone expect the police to do something about their outdoor tagless cat unprotected by law?
