I’ve never seen this before and I was wondering how it would affect the look of the stitch. To my surprise it looks just like a regular stitch. Thank you for sharing this technique.
You’re welcome 🥰 To avoid the jog you can knit your first round in the new colour and then, at the start of the next round, lift the stitch from the row below onto the needle and knit it together with the next stitch - I don’t actually do this as the jog doesn’t bother me but I’ve tried this and it does work ☺️
Thank you so much, this came just when I needed it, I am making scrappy socks right now and am not happy with my joins, this is so much neater! One question, do you weave in those ends or just trim them?

Glad it was helpful! ☺️ I just trim the ends and leave about an inch poking out ☺️
Thank you this was incredibly helpful!!
You’re welcome! Happy to help 🥰
Super, thank you❤
You’re welcome 🥰
This is SO cool! And I bet it’d work adding in same color yarn as well? Is DK weight too thick to use this method? Love it! 👏
I think you could use it for any weight yarn so I’d give it a try 🥰
@@emmacmakes Excellent! Thanks for getting back. ☺️
I'm going to try this for sure! I always have a loose gap and try to tighten it up while weaving in my ends. Thanks, Emma.☺
