Manie's kicking out of hand is phenomenal. Look at the contestable kicks after he came on in Argentina. Look at the quarter final vs France, that we would not have won if Manie had not started and took advantage of the French.
I think Manie is a great player, quick on his feet, a team player, runs well with the ball, a great asset to the SA Bok team. He shouldn't kick under pressure though. Use his other great skills :)

The Springboks have the best rugby supporters in the world, no doubt. But we also have a minority section of the fan base which are fellow travellers and fair-weather fans. They usually tend to go overboard when the Boks win and unnecessarily rub it other people’s faces but when we lose they attempt to drag everyone down into the sewer with them.

Forget Marnie’s kick, Moerat invisible once again, dreadful performance. Moerat match stats: played 56 mins for 9 tackles, 1 dominant; 7 carries for a combined 2 meters and zero lineout wins…he’s not just there for the chat
Ruan missed 4 tackles and probably similar carry stats cause I saw Moerat carry even more. Our goal is not gainline like in past but quick ball so if you overrun with our new 2222 setup, you only have 1 other forward to help clean. Look at Siya's debut and early games, he was no Schalk Burger, but he did the basics well. Moerat did that on Sat he will improve be patient, stop comparing once in a generation Eben to him. Also take note Boks are trying new defence, att and tony ball unlike in past where the game plan was simple faf kick after 5 phases of going backward on always full lineouts. New players in such a complex gameplan requires lots of time.

I have been binging socials regarding Manie, reading comments etc. I have not seen any racial stuff but could have missed it. But people are being way over critical of Manie for sure.
It is a little sketchy how often Elton Jantjies name comes up with those attacking him. Sometimes the racist part can just be the overlooking of Pollard's mistakes (two missed tackles that led to tries) and judging him by a different standard.

I don’t believe the rugby supporters have reason to criticize Rassie, he has too much success to beat him up on the mistakes. For me, Moerat did not rise to the stresses of a Captain, but he too needs to be tested and groomed into that very difficult task of captaincy, it will take another Siya to fill that and he is special and was given time to evolve into the Captaincy while the team evolved early Rassie days. But now Rassie should note that Moerat needs to be in Bomb squad with short bursts of captaincy to grow, or hand over future to a “Eben” if he can make 2027. Eben needs to be nursed or he will have a serious injury or simply be worn out. Rassie cannot select many other guys because they are young but keep getting injuries, he is scratching his head for a solution and it may be Siya if he too is nursed to 2027 RWC. But post 32???
