I am a sophomore entering an essay scholarship contest In my school district. The discussion is about MLK's speech and while I was looking for some helpful information to support my ideas, yours was the most helpful and best delivered. I really love this analysis.
What a beautiful analysis of Dr. King Jr.'s amazing speech. Nancy goes even further in her book, Resonate. It's one of my favorites from Duarte, along with Illuminate. Can't wait to dive into her other works.
Thank you Nancy :-) I like how you pointed out the ways he spoke to the hearts of the audience receiving the message. I also appreciate you encouraging us to dream big, as God so calls us to do. It just so happens that I "stumbled upon" your video after listening to MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech. The purpose was to share it in a portion of my lesson to the youth at church about how God has this dream for complete unity for people of all nations to receive the same inheritance He promised the Jewish people. God made this possible by the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. See Ephesians 2:11-19. There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was inspired by this Scripture and it resonated throughout his speech. May God Be with you.
thank you for this video it was really great i can see you put a lot of work and time into it, and it helped me see how Dr. MLK inspired so many people.
Beautifuly done I understand what you said, I never thought that way about Dr. King's I have a Dream speech. I'm wondering what you think about the Mountaintop speech, or the Vietnam speech. Just wondering.
she likely believes that most of us are too terrified to be heroes. I agree with you though. as Camus said, “What is called a reason for living is also an excellent reason for dying.”
I should highly first and foremost praise you for a meticulous analysis as such. I would like to know the software you used to establish this bright analytical masterpiece!!!
The Greatest man that live in 1900 during the century; forgetting all others that went before him!; no President ever in American history...can compare...or human.

is that like when they drive the word terrorist in to us?
Pretty sure he was ‘American Baptist’ and not ‘Southern Baptist.’ Though his preaching style fits the general Baptist style of the time.
In short he was painting pictures in words.
thank you!
