Hi Allan. I will upload another video very soon, giving a slightly better presentation of the boat than this video. Asking price will be about 30k euro. I will remove the new insane expensive electronics (chartplotter etc) and reinstall the old equipment (which should work fine). I will change the two forward navigational lights with a combined Hella Marine LED, as the two present lanterns conflicts with the code zero. There are a flaw with the paintings too, as the second layer of paint on the main hull sticks bad to the first layer. I will make a list. The boat will be advertised in late march, but is ready on the boat trailer to move with only minor preparations.

Thanks. That might actually happens this spring. The 800SW is now in winter-storage, but I have fallen for an old Fisher motorsailer. I might regret that! Not good.... ;-)

@@horstlauch453 Thank you. It will come for sale in april I think, since I have bought an old Fisher motorsailer.

Hello Blimp, you made a very nice work on this DF. We have a Racing one of 2004, in the last ones, and we plan to buy a new engine, a Tohatsu 6 cv like yours. Did you choose the long shaft, or the ultra-long of this "Sailing Pro" ? And have you been satisfied of it ? Thank you

Hello Olivier. Sorry for a late answer. The engine is the 9.8 and with the ultra-long shaft and electric starter. Very happy with the engine. The ultra-long shaft pays off when encountering large waves. The long shaft keeps the propeller deep enough not to suck air when the boat is heavily lifted by the waves. The only negative issue is the weight of the engine. 9.8 is much more then normally needed to run the boat. But it has loads of extra force for bad weather. And on calm days with no need for the extra force the engine runs quite silent due to very low revs. Good luck buying a new engine. :-)
