Many would say that running three Rubrics is stupid, because Tzangors give more aggresive play. But as someone who HATES them and find them jarring in 40k, I simply do not care. And will stick with my Dusty Bois. Nonetheless, I love Warpcoven on paper, and am building my models for them, All Is Dust, brothers!
Love the guides. Bought the Thousand Sons boarding patrol and have been using them as my kill team. Love them, but just struggle with positioning. I want to use the sorcerers first to get them into a good position, but then the marines are dragging behind. Feels like im only using half my sorcerers movement to just stay in range of the marines. Still love them and the Spawn color scheme they have though
Firstly, thanks for this complete awesome guide for WarpCoven. Secondly, i have a question about "Exalted Astrates" SP, In KTdash app it says the cost is 0 CP but in your guide mentioned 1 CP. Can you tell me which one is correct?
Is the Rubric Marines' Soulreaper cannon a conversion kit? If it is may I ask where did you get it? If it isn't, then, may I ask what you did to convert - I really like the look of it. Thanks.
So correct me if I am wrong here, but nowadays you can build a Warpcoven team of 3 sorcerers and 3 Rubric marines right? Lets say 3 sorcerers (1 as a leader), 1 Icon bearer, 1 gunner, and 1 regular marine. Does that work?
Also can I put the same discipline on different ones? It wasn't specifically stated so not sure but I'm guessing that I can do so since no one is saying otherwise; Also unit Idea (Sorcerer, Force Stave, Prosperine Khopesh, Destiny Disipline, Time-Walker or Empyric Ward or Crystalline or Mutant Appendage, (any of those work but I put the order I would do it) could put equipment like Arcane robes, Gilded Horns (for the Force Stave attacking) This is good to have a unit that's hard to kill in a area you need or just to have a shield to protect a unit you want alive, I know this isn't what you would usually want to do since you have limited units but it can be used in many ways and can really help with specific encounters... and who would think to plan for this?
This unit idea would also buff the defense in the strategy you used but you would need to change a few small things, this is still a decent idea if done correctly, but it does have downsides... like it having only the magic for range or if you use destiny discipline on it you need the scroll on the other to make up for it or the fact you are using a unit as a shield...
@@KimerexProjekt Thanks for the info, I have had a really hard time figuring this out it's my first team and I regret everything 😭 you are the first tutorial basically of it that I could find
3:29 each power can only be used once per turning point, no matter what. Even if a sorcerer uses a scroll or uses the tac ploy to borrow from another sorcerer, you can't use the same power twice in one turning point, I'm pretty sure. The wording is: "You can only select each psychic power a maximum of once per Turning Point."
Updated video with all the new dataslate possibilities that have been unlocked? Love this channel
Stumbled across your videos recently and really enjoying these team explanations.
I love my good good Tzaangbois
Thanks for talking about the Tzaangors, they're often forgot but my favorite
Weren't the Tzaangabois behind that hit song "we like to party"?
They sound like a lot of fun
Great Video! I've been thinkin' about making Warpcoven my second team. Really like your level of production and the great, concise information.
Great content, been getting more into Kill Team lately and I'm glad these videos are so digestible.

Question what did Magnus do wrong? 😉
Everything
Nothing
The duality of man
Nothing! Wdym he doomed the imperium? Had to have been that bastard Leman Russ.
More things than numbers can count
Awesome guide

Kt dash, as Warpcoven have been MASSIVELY buffed since I made this.

That is a reaper chaincannon from i believe a box of havocs I had.
@@KimerexProjekt Very nice conversion. Did you cut the end of a Thousand Son Bolter barrel and add it to the end of the Soulreaper?
@@scrag2841 yep
@@KimerexProjekt Very nice, thank you!!!
what color are your tzangors?
Army painter speed paint > magic blue.
That is the skin tone. Rest is gold and i believe minor detail colors here and there.
