The tough part about the post-Endgame era (2019-2024) is it was loaded with external issues that affected production, creative work and more. The pandemic and resulting work restrictions (which happened as most of the Phase 4 stuff was being made), the writers strike and contract problems, the death of Chadwick Boseman, social justice movements infiltrating Disney (Love and Thunder, Eternals) and of course overproduction messing up the continuity (Multiverse of Madness) and more. I love Marvel but their new direction is killing the MCU. How many story lines have they tried to set up that will take YEARSSSS. The quality had def taken a hit. I'm sure we won't hit off some of these story lines like starfox or Hercules.
The problem is everyone is crying because they’re expecting Infinity War and Endgame material when in reality this is a brand new Story and Saga so of course it’s going to take time as we progress into the introduction phase introducing new characters. casual “fans” don’t have the patience to the see the bigger picture nowadays

I'm a fairly critical moviegoer, and while I think Phase 4 is very scattered and has some shows that detract from the greater timeline, it's not the horror show many of these hypercritical, chronically online "fans" make it out to be. The writing has been clunky, some unlikeable and unnecessary characters have been introduced and more, but there has been a fair amount of continuity, the actors are still solid, and the greater universe is being explored. Marvel Comics has a HUGE universe with plenty of inconsistencies and different timelines. They'll find their way (even though the diversity agenda has definitely shot down the quality). Some shows like Echo, She Hulk, Secret Invasion and What If were either bad or downright unnecessary. But I think they've taken note of that since they're scaling back production.

I think Phase 4 should have primarily focused on the passing the mantle theme and the Thunderbolts storyline and set some Multiverse stuff up. Phase 5 should have been when all the new supes were introduced so that there's a clear throughline with each setup. By the time Shang-Chi 2 comes out, it will have been like 5 years since the first one. We got all of Tom Holland's Spiderman films in 5 years, all of Iron Man's trilogy in 5 years, and Cap America's trilogy in 5 years. Thor's first 3 films took 6 years. The plotlines we have are just too far apart to feel satisying imo. I completely forgot Sharon Carter was Power Broker until seeing her in this video.

Seeing those scenes back just reinforced how all over the place the multiverse saga has been. Hopefully it's over soon and we'll look back on it as just the necessary step Marvel had to take to get us to X-Men et al and connected storytelling again. Anyone remember when Feige said that there weren't going to be any more phases after Endgame? They were going to just operate like a regular studio, with all kinds of unrelated movies, just using Marvel comics as their source material. I can't figure why they bothered to separate Phase 4 and Phase 5. It just all seems to run together. I believe that making more Phases and connecting shows and movies together (WandaVision-Dr. Strange MOM, Black Widow-Hawkeye, Loki-Quantamania) was a Disney directive in order to "encourage" people to watch Disney+.

I don’t necessarily count the shows’ credits scenes for what’s ruining Phase 4. Live Action & Animated Shows tend to have credits scenes so they could leave the shows open in case they get green-lit for another season. It’s the not the same as a movie credits scene, where it sets up a sequel that’ll likely happen because of the box office or critical success of the film. But since the MCU hasn’t been doing so well in terms of critic scores and the box office… I’d say the movies aren’t doing so well.

why not they start this Phase 4 with Hawkeye forming The Avengers West Coast (She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ant-Man, Wasp, Luke Cage, Iron Fist) with then later meet up with The X-Men for Secret Wars before facing Kang Dynasty help by other New York Avengers (Falcon, Hercules, Namor, Black Knight, Starfox, Beast, Shang Chi)
when TVA are guiding alternative timeline, and Loke fell on another universe. so each universe has its own TVA to guide another alternative timeline?? confusing

I watching all phase 4..some good,some just so so..but i can connect all the story so far in where its gonna go...just 1 question..why did they make zeus as not evil,just bad ego man..i saw the deleted scene where zeus did give thunderbolt to thor,thats made him a good guy so why they change that story to the current movie? So they can make zeus evil god or just want to introduced hercules..
