Brilliant tactic but Dr. Strange died many times in the process proving he wouldnt unlock time unless Dormammu cooperated. There was no clash between them, other then a strategic bargaining skill coerced by Strange. Id like to see the extent of Dormammu's power because we didnt see that in the movie.

Guy, in a storyline, Galatus went to Dormommu's realm and consumed him. He is not undefeated.
