Sableye in right hands is demon for real. But also, sableye is a support which means your allies also has to be good to follow up on the sableye's giga chad shanigans. Just yesterday, I unite moved 4 people in ray pit flipping ray (all preparing to go for the base), my ally cerulage follows up with a massive unite, securing the ray and wiping the team. Instant surrender from the enemies.
I can't tell sometimes if I'm good or bad with sable (cause it was the first support I bought) and I just used it to harrass the jungler, though I keep dying and I don't like being behind on levels lol
@@theguy261 lol, you have never faced a good sableye in your life, ask a team of Urshifu comfy whom I just annoyed so hard that I was higher level than their entire team for almost the entire game.. My entire team gave me a like, and I was the MVP😂😂 go and check out my latest game on unite api my username is Zârude
I feel like this video should be renamed “Top 10 worst Pokémon for new players “. The Pokémon shown here can all be pretty good or just downright terrifying in the right hands. Keywords: In the right hands.
This list is very generic I don't agree with his list. Cause it's just the pokemon he sees hurt him. He is talking like he is playing in veteran. Cause i don't see these mons being weak in high level play.
@saltynamekian1514 what do you even consider high level plays? Most of the ADC attackers are free and the people who use them mostly are GARBAGE. Less than 40k damage = useless teammate
I think I'm seeing a common thread in this list... Instead of helping their team, Goodra players are trying to get big self-heal numbers even when tanking is unnecessary Instead of helping their team, Zeraora players are running in and dying due to a lack of real understanding of its mechanics Instead of helping their team, Machamp players are Submissioning around the map and taking jungle from people who actually want to farm it Instead of helping their team, Snorlax (Flail) players are being ineffective defenders because they don't realize they're playing an all-rounder Instead of helping their team, Tyranitar players are not leveling up effectively enough to join more than one potential big fight Instead of helping their team, Talonflame are trying to back-cap and not even attempting to use its great fighting potential Instead of helping their team, Mewtwo players are expecting to win as they always did by just mashing A Instead of helping their team, Greninja players are off LARPing as ninjas away from the fights Instead of helping their team, Decidueye players are trying to rip objectives even when it's to their team's detriment to do so Instead of helping their team, Sableye players are halfway across the map doing something? sneaky These mons seem to be easier for new players to fall into these traps due to their image/themes being so strong. All of the unhelpful actions boil down to just not being team players in a team game. For example, new players might tend to play Speedsters like edgy lone wolves, because that's what you think of when you see a ninja frog, zooming firebird, or warping thunder cat. For any players who are unconfident in their skills and watch this video feeling bad; don't. The only takeaway here is that if you're actually trying to work as a team, you're already better than all the examples he gave in this video.
10 Worst Allies In Your Team 10.)Goodra - 00:34 9.)Zeraora - 01:32 8.)Machamp - 02:40 7.)Snorlax - 03:39 6.)Tyranitar - 04:24 5.)Talonflame - 05:30 4.)Mewtwo X and Y?! - 06:28 3.)Greninja - 07:51 2.)Decidueye - 08:47 1.)Of course its Sableye - 09:38 Thanks for the vid, buddy. I thought Comfey will end up here too😂. I always paired with disgusting Comfey players.
As with all Pokemon, you can sometimes get a "great" Zeraora, or Goodra, or whatever. But when you see those leftovers + potion in the character select screen, it does remove some of the suspense.
Agreed. Cinder is top 3 for me tbh. All they do is rip any objective they see, avoid team fights and steal your team's jungle while proceeding to not use those levels to help yoir team and keepinf your jungler under levelled.
@@spragels I think you give a little too much love to mages. I'm genuinely confused why Decidueye makes the top 2 when it has a build that is essentially functions like a mage. I can't remember the last Razor Leaf Decidueye I've seen. Autoattackers are great, but they take positioning and skill. Especially since Unite players don't prioritize "peeling" and players who play speedsters/burst pokemon know to prioritize damage. But Cinderace, Dragapult, and Decidueye could all shell out damage with a good front line.
@@greenmenace9666 Decidueye is not a mage. Never has, never will. Make sure you don't do that mistake again. Some UNite players will peel. Just get good in the 1st place before you speak more nonsense imo.
I met an expert Sableye player once, he was an mvp, he did the most damage out of his teammate (65K) and he also KO the most enemies. I was on the opposing team and it was EXTREMELY hard to deal with.
Great list Jake. I think some honorable mentions are Scizor and Gardevoir. Scizor: Loves to call jungle. Ganks a lane and might do decent because of its lvl 5 power spike. Stays in lane like a worse water bear and falls behind in levels immediately. Stops doing any damage and salty pings the team the rest of the game. Gardevoir: somehow each garde player finds a new way to break the worst item build in the game record. Somehow misses each unite move.
As a Decid, I typically stay far from combat due to how incredibly frail decids are, and using spirit shackle to take down weak opponents or steal objectives like Rayquaza, Decid does not have the capability to fight in close range 1v1 but will gain an advantage in ranged combat thanks to Spirit shackle and the Long Reach ability
I think Spragels grossly underestimates spirit shackle Decidueye. I don't think the owl is the best Pokemon, but it isn't in the bottom 10. I could find several Pokemon I feel are less helpful in all roles (except maybe support). The owl's damage is real. I've lost games because my teammates could not bring themselves to attack it. Here's the thing; even though Decidueye is frail, I still think it has good potential. Defenders need to learn that they can help win teamfights by pulling back and peeling for their dps. Because it's damage, not defenders, that knocks Pokemon out. Owl would have no problem surviving if they had 1 second to reposition themselves and shoot. I'm also a fan of the shedinja doll which makes it even *easier* for teammates to peel for you.
@@Goldeneye3336 I've climbed to high masters on owl...in solo quene...it doesn't have a place in pro tournaments maybe where there's coordinated play and good communication. Confirmation bias will make you lose more games if you self-tilt and give up. For example, if you leave lane after losing one audino, of course your Decidueye is going to have a rough game as 3 enemy Pokes camp farm and score. The result of that poor decision, not Decidueye's, leads to a free lane for the enemy team while the player reduces experience on their own team. And then they wonder why the team is so far behind. Macro play is a really big factor to win consistently. Owl fulfills its role. It deals good dps at range. It has its place, not at the top of the meta, but it works and its fun to play in any team comp (though any attacker hates a 3 speedster team). No need to hate on a Pokemon if people don’t play it right. They don’t like losing either. Don’t quit in team select and keep an open mind. You might just fight by a good (fill in the blank here) you normally can’t stand. The gaps in the meta are there, but they're relatively small. Most of the time, it isn't a ravine of doom--the worst global winrate I think I've seen is like 44%.
Literally yesterday i had 5 games in a row (ranked master rank) where some bastards in my team insta-locked Sablye. And of course I lost five times in a row. These guys didn't help the team at all just wondering around the map and scoring some minor points. Never have they thought of actually helping a team in a fight. it's also important piece of information that nearly half of Sableyes in my team run lefties.
As a tyanitar main, I would like to mention some things. First, tyranitar is to xp dependent, meaning you NEED a support with exp share. Second, we are always targeted by the enemy team in the beginning of the match. Third, no matter how you build Tyanitar nothing work. Try to build like any all-rounder and you can't deal much damage, build full damage and you get k.o.ed instantly, build defensive and now you can't deal any damage. Also we can't even chase down enemies without ancient power, which has a 10 Second cool down. Finally, because of the bad reputation, our allies use troll builds (I literally had a game were decidueye had both curse items and a rescue hood.) Overall, I love this video, but we Tyanitar mains have been done dirty for so long.
@posobio I wish I could lie about building full damage and get instantly get k.o. instead. Tyanitar's ability stacks off of his defenses and not his offense. And when you use your unite move, everyone will focus on you, but you can't attack until the unite animation is done, which is about 3 seconds.
Would have added cinder to the list as well…. You get them on the team and you just know they are going to rip ray no matter what… you could be up 400 points and they will still rip ray 😢
Running into more RL Decidueyes lately that absolutely STOMP! Shadowforce Dragapult and RL Decidueye can be a MEAN little damage team when played together right, buuuuut you need a reliable defender
I play goodra religiously lol, and i absolutely agree. Now goodra is awesome when it comes to defending, especially when you get to stand on goal and dragon pulse everyone, but when it comes to team fights, it kinda only really helps itself. It has no big CC moves, its unite only heals itself, and you have to hope the enemies are grouped up enough for you to hit all with your D-pulse to survive or wear down their health for your team. I love goodra but i play it as an all rounder. If i wanna defend, imma pull out my pocket crusty crab.
I love Goodra as well. I agree that Goodra has clear weaknesses and you're absolutely right about those. I'm also not big on dragon pulse. I think that's where Goodra gets her bad name. It's not that it's bad--it's just that other "all-arounders" can accomplish the same thing and do it better. Here's my counterargument. It's Ho-Oh. Everyone insists its broken and it's banned every Master's match. Ho-oh is more mobile than Goodra, but it does less damage and has less CC. In other MOBAs, you have a similar style of "Defender" or "Tank" that is just hard to bring down. You can get value out of Goodra just as you can Ho-Oh.
@greenmenace9666 oh I absolutely agree, Ho-Oh has got to he one of the best defenders added to the game after umbreon. Tanky and mobile, great at actually defending and does decent damage without being broken. We stan ho-oh mains♡♡
I love greninja play style a lot. If im losing a lot of im gonna play greninja and win with it. Greninja allies most of the time are terrible. When i fight a really good sableye is so painful playing against it... is horrifying. I simply hate decidue players, i rather put decidue in the first place there, I HATE DECIDUE ALLIES SO MUCH! Very accurate video Jake.
I love Decidueye. Bite me :) If there's an attacker role needed my top two are Venusaur and Decidueye. Good Decidueyes are more common than good Talonflames, Cramorants, and Sableyes amongst other Pokes on and off the list. If Decidueye made the list, it doesn't belong in the top two. A lot of Spragels argument is based on bad builds, or bad players. I have seen plenty of bad Decidueyes (where they miss its unite move somehow lol), but that's on the player not the Pokemon. Razor leaf is extremely situational (where you have a great frontline) so we're usually talking about spirit shackle. It changes Decidueye into a mage with the catch that it has a good autoattack. It has some of the, if not the *longest* range in the game WITH good damage.
Pikachu as well. Pikachu is easy to play but not so easy to master. Most players I meet have average Pikachu play. Around 40-55k damage and they think they did their job. When played right, Pika is one of the best to counter any attacker or Speedster.
I want to be a good Pikachu. Or find a mage that I feel decent at. I'm a good player and can play just about any role except mage. I haven't seen a "shut-down" Pikachu yet to be honest that does as you've said. For me, it or Cramorant should be on this list instead of Decidueye. I guess Decidueye's problem is that it needs to land its spirit shackle to be useful, but incredible range has to count for something.
Goodra is an interesting case where it has good sustain which can help in fights but lacks much team fighting so most of the time it comes down to can you be annoying enough to force people to fight you. This then comes down to when to do this and if your team can monopolize on you being a sponge. The biggest issue goodra has for team fights is not having an effective peel for attacks to make a break and reposition. Goodra will shine in drawn out fights so the team needs good sustain pokemon.
I disagree with Spragels when he says that there is nothing to be gained from stalling out the enemy team. It could theoretically buy time for your team to get an objective, or score, or dive their backline. I think a lot of Goodras just play to sustain which is a problem--where they take pointless fights not trying to get anything done. There's a time and a place where it could work, instead of literally just running at the enemy team. I really dislike Dragon Pulse. But Goodra's pretty good at harassing. I wouldn't say it's a bad Pokemon--just that its bad build is more popular.
I agree with those and I have seen worst Comfey allies too who stay with an ally who doesn't help or does little to no damage. I have seen players not play Ceruledge or some other good Pokémons, in a good way that helps the team. Especially allies who don't look at the team comp. You can just hope for good teammates tbh.
Lol. Same. It was definitely one of my biggest hurdles to 1600 masters. Sableye, Talonflame (it's not bad, it's just played selfishly), and Machamp. I see any of those three and I think, welp, our teamfights are getting flushed down the drain--which is most of the game :)
@NeohShiesty Machamp is really fun imo. I mainly just play these casually when I'm playing with my lower ranked friends. My go to mon in ranked is Umbreon and my boy Blaziken
@@quetzypoo I loved Machamp. Zacian ruined all All-arounders in the game (all-arounders were nerfed to make sure Zacian was far and away #1). Rn, Machamp only feels useful as an ally when it has its unite move. I hope it gets buffed and I'll certainly play it again. Decidueye isn't bad. I would argue that point. And Spragels acknowledged that both Snorlax and Talonflame are good in the right hands, provided you don't just play on your own.
@@greenmenace9666 idk I love Machamp he's just in desperate need of a buff. As far as the other mons I listed, I really I love all of them, I just can't get them to work in ranked cuz I solo q. Decidueye and Talon did me well in baby ranks but in masters I was getting dunked on so I just picked better mons instead.
@@quetzypoo I love Machamp too, I do. For me, I just hate seeing him in like 60-70% of my matches as I climb to 1600 Masters ^.^ Most squishy pokemon get popped quickly, and in solo q you can't depend on people to recognize when you're in trouble. That's why squishy pokemon aren't as reliable, but I still think they have real damage potential. No matter what though, CC will always be king in these games.
A bad Goodra will be the weakest link on the team, a good Goodra can keep several enemies busy at once and become the most annoying thing to kill on the planet
@@StephenChason-eu7he That's a fair point, but Goodra has a higher damage potential than most (and I'm talking Muddy Water). I like playing Defenders. Goodra outdamages them all. She has a niche in my book.
Just got comm banned because someone started speaking Spanish and I said “I wish I knew what you were saying.” Afterwards they started pinging “thanks” ALL game. After the game was over, I was notified I had a comms ban. I will not spend a single penny on this game and honestly, I hope it goes under.
New to the game and been watching a bunch of your videos, learned a lot thanks. However, man I am having a blast with Goodra, and the mages seems to love it, enemies working on to kill me and my mates almost free to kill them xD just glorious. Keep up the cool and informative vids :-)
I completely agree on sableye I honestly can’t stand when I see one in solo q because they either try to invade most of the time and no one communicates they are alone in a lane it’s a Pokémon that’s only good when you have a legit 5 I also don’t agree on deci only because every dog has its day and every once in awhile you get that lucky ray snipe and win when you shouldn’t
Now we need the follow up video on how to play all these guys. Zeraora is my favorite pokemon and it feels bad I can''t use him in here without being a handicap.
By the gods, this list was pretty darn accurate as I audibly sigh when most of them end up on my team. I was waiting for sableye… I loath seeing one on my team because I just know I’m absolutely gonna lose the match if it’s solo queue lol glad cinder was mentioned because my squad members know how I feel about it and I’m very vocal that I’ve seen good ones but never on my team and seeing one instantly incites complaints from me lol great list as usual lol
Goodra definitely is crazy with a good player and support. Had one with a Comfey and it would come out of 2v5s unscathed. Believe me, it was in a lot of 2v5s that match 😭
This has to be one of your most accurate videos. Literally agree with every single choice here. I absolutely despise mewtwo players especially if there is a comfey who mewtwo will suck right off for the entire game. I have a burning hatred for greninja, talonflame, decidueye, sableye players. The second I see any one of those pokemon come in lane with me I know early game is going to be horrible for me.
Respect. Personally, Greninja and Decidueye have been my favorite attackers for a long time, but their popularity and availability have led them to be tainted by noobs.
I understand this well. I am a really good player who plays a lot of different pokemon. This is actually a flaw for me since I have no better experience with specific pokemon. But I can say that my allies have no clue how to play the game. Recently, I was playing with a comfy player and the problem is that they literally went afk on me. They had a macro and essentially went afk. When I died and they died, they didn't move when they respawned. And always used their moves the second they got em this included spamming the unite move.
Im surprised theres no cinderace Allies on my team always pick cinder when theres already a jungler like char,or some greninja, etc and keep pinging thanks later in the game and another classic scenario, they stay in top side grass waiting with their unite only to fail agh
TBH I really hate my teammates picking up Tyranitar or Gyarados in a solo Q. For Tyranitar, if he's got the jungle, the whole team will suffer until he got level 9 because he can't gank any lane before that. If he's going lane, it's even worse. For Gyarados, you know that your ally jungler WILL and HAVE to gank that lane that Magikarp is in until it evolves, and you also know the enemy jungle WILL for sure gank that Magikarp lane to prevent it from evolve too early. Sometimes Gyarados solo Q players really make me feel like they just takes everyone into hostage for their own enjoyment.
Don't tilt on Gyarados. It has one of, if not the highest wr in the game. I consistently get 90k a game with it in high level masters, and reliably wipe out the enemy backline solo, which essentially singlehandedly wins teamfights. Most of my losses as Gyarados literally have been my teammate going afk before lane even starts. Gyarados is going to be nerfed because it has insane potential where it can do just about anything it thinks of, including carrying bad teams. That's why I play it--to carry. If Gyarados evolves early in lane (which is a real possibility), I have singlehandedly crippled an entire lane. The enemy team just abandons lane because they can't deal with the snake fish. Aqua Tail isn't anything special, but Dragon Breath is incredible, even a behind Gyarados can catch up on its own and *duel* the enemy team's best Pokemon. If you want to not hate Gyarados, just help it evolve. It's common for people to stack early. Stick by your goal zone, aim for an early ko, and you pretty much have a lvl 4 Gyarados who will oppress the lane, get obnoxiously fed, and hog all of the enemy farm to starve the enemy team. It's worth it in my book. Frankly, it's best to work with your teammate regardless of the Pokemon anyways. When you leave the karp alone, we all know it's not going to knock anyone out by itself. Tyranitar is more fair, because it, like Gardevoir, takes a loooong time to come online, and it's easily outplayed.
@@greenmenace9666 I know Gyarados is strong, but what I'm saying is that once you have a Gyarados on your team, there's pretty much no other choices for junglers for the first gank. Just makes the game much more predictable.
@@Zee-q7l Oh ok. Gotcha. I agree that Magikarp should get the first gank every game, but honestly I rarely get help from my jungle as Karp ^.^ so I feel like people are asserting their choice. I think ganking different lanes still provides different advantages depending on the team composition. I've gotten by just fine even with jungle just rage pinging me instead of ganking. I can definitely see how ganking a Magikarp would be boring. Pre-Gyarados is pretty boring to play around.
Sableye is my favorite pokemon in and out of the game. I took the time to learn it and try all the moves and stuff but your definitely right about people not utilizing my shenanigans or sableye on my team wandering away and not being in the fights. and your exactly right about zera and greninja.... GET OFF MY TEAM
130% agree on Sableye. Ruins most of the games i played with and Sableye is most of the time in my lane. Bizarrely when i play against a sableye player they are so good and annoying! I almost always choose to ban it in draft
I feel the same way about Cinderace as I do about Greninja. Maybe Cinder is even worse because it's a combination of bad Greninja and Decidueye: They never help the team and they rip Rayquaza no matter if all enemies are around... :/ By the way, I love these The Office clips. I should watch it - again :)
Lately, my sister and I have been duoing Goodra and aurora veil Ninetales (I'm Ninetales) and it's been incredibly effective. She plays dragon pulse to sustain and take/redirect damage while I freeze things in the backline and give her that sweet sweet ~30% damage reduction I can 100% attest to the bad soloq Goodras though. I do think it's better than cynics say, but it's not as good as the enthusiasts say
When my duo plays snorlax he plays heavy slam lax and we dominate the top lane. When I get a rando lax it’s flail lax and they run ahead of all the bunelby and then proceed to die horribly to the enemy team.
I've seen a lot of Comfey lately who the moment first fight is lost they give up and run around taking all the ads then run as far away from team fights as possible to go score
Here I was, watching the video, and then I feared the worst when spragels said that this could have been an all speedster list. Thank god Zoroark is not here. But that makes sense. The missing speedsters are just not there because they are harder to play, and the noobs drop them after a while. Zeraora probably has the easiest damage dealing with moves like Discharge, and Talonflame has the best easy escape moves. Plus they are cheap and easy to access. Noobs just love to take some beloved Pokemon in this game and ruin the rest of our lives with them. These ten (plus cinderace) are some of the first fatalities.
Whenever I play Machamp, I always use the Dynamic Punch/Cross Chop combo and I try to go top lane, I've never really seen the appeal to submission, tbh
We can it Trollax (Flail Snorlax). It's funny because Greninja, Decideye, and Cinderace players have the WORST game tech skills, but you literally see them one of them every single game, more than likely by the lowest MMR player.
lol i main sebleye. what i hate is when you try to protect your allie by fearing the enemy team so they can run and escape. but they try to attack and end up getting KO and still they blame you.
Seeing this list after s losing streak with 5 different useless Zeraora players makes me feel vindicated. I have to switch the Sableye's players though. I rarely get bad Sableyes, mostly ok ones. The Absols though are an absolute nightmare. Bro thinks he's him while inting himself to the enemy team for the fifth time in a row in the past 2 minutes. Or worse than Absol the Comfey players. They just sit there attached like parasites waiting for you to carry them while barely even healing. They don't even know that you can heal AS the fighting starts to provide a shield instead of waiting for your ally to be almost dead. Not to mention that the always attach themselves to the wrong pokemon. Whoo needs you more Comfey? The Umbreon on the frontlines disrupting the enemy? The Blaziken at half health brawling? Nope, for them it's the full health Dragapult who just went invisible.
As a guy who played DotA clones for years maining tanks/initiators I feel pretty confident with Tytar even if I'm a returning player. Yet I'm sure I will be THAT Tytar on your team for some time, but it's too cool to not play it, so...
Me when... Goodra: "What part of "DEFENDER needed!' do you not understand?" Zeraora: "Oh boy, a squishy All-Rounder with no CC." Machamp: "...Eh, I'm sure his heart is in the right place at least..." Snorlax: "Rapid Fire Scarf, no EXP Share... yeah this is just gonna be a weaker Outrage D-nite that at least doesn't have to evolve." Tyranitar: "Uhhhg, the first six minutes is gonna be 4v5..." Talonflame: Ok seriously what's the deal with Gold Ribbon T-flames? They're either cracked as hell and have a 130% secure rate on all objectives they're alive for, or Goal Getter garbage that ends the game with only 80 points scored despite constantly back capping and sub-20k damage delt. There is ZERO in-between and it's ALWAYS a dead-even 50/50 coin toss what you'll get. Gengar: "Have you been paying any attention to what's been going on around you for the past two years? Who let you out of the retirement home? Haven't you noticed yet that you spend half the match taking resources from the rest of your team for a Lv 9 power spike that amounts to little more than a single bump on a highway rumble strip? Do you even know where you are? You haven't been paying attention for the past two years, and I know you won't pay attention for the next ten minutes." (Honestly I haven't had that many issues with Mewtwos, and I'm very surprised Gengar didn't make the cut.) Greninja: "Bro thinks he's him. One might even say he Believe it." Decidueye: "I swear to god Razor Leaf Deci players and even some of the Spirit Shackle players all share ONE brain cell, and based on the Potion Rescue Hood Score Shield Razor Claw, it is NOT our Deci's turn!" Sableye: *"Begone, wretched spawn of Satan. We asked for a Supporter, and you give us a Burden. Why do you need Goal Getter AND Score Shield if your whole shtick is scoring during big team fights? Where is your EXP Share? Do you even know what sharing is? Do you even have a soul, or are you just an empty husk? I can already tell that you will greedily make it niy impossible for me to stack. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were playing for the enemy team. You make me want to ban Sableye not because I fear being invaded and harassed by the enemy, but because I fear the torment of having to fight alongside but somehow simultaneously against the likes of YOU..."*
Honestly, this just boils down to 'actually be a team player'. Because everything you listed are just players who don't help their team, and those are the worst kinds of allies.
I still hate Zeraora even after all these years. Back in the early days if you saw a Zera you knew it was going to fight you for Jungle even though you already called it.
Zeraora is someone that takes both buffs and then walks them directly into the nearest enemy goal to hand them to the enemy laners. Zeraora and Greninja were not at the top of this list but they make up way more of the unwinnable games than Sableye.
I’ve tried to be a good Decidueye player, but yeah, it doesn’t feel I can truly understand how to play it, so I dropped it before I become a hinderance in Ranked.
The real worst thing you can do is afk. Especially in ranked. Don't do that. Edit: Don't Int either. On the same level (Though your opponents will be a much higher level)
There's different levels of inting. I become a lot more aggressive when I'm behind because I hope for a ko and a massive xp boost. Then there are people who tilt and run to the enemy jungle and stand there ^.^
Greninja lane is NOT good. Playing greninja lane the only way you can help your team is picking an important K.O, be a kinda even level to the the other jungler and doing a good unite at ray. Playing greninja in lane is not easy. If you going to play greninja just do central area you would doing incredibly well if you are good with it.
@@raizen4597 This. If someone is good enough to lane with Greninja, then they will do even better at a higher level and run away with the game. Sorry Jojo--Greninja's kit is focused on giving good ganks like a Speedster. I fully believe that you're good at the Pokemon, but I have had several Greninja lane partners. Greninja also only has so-so secure. Several lane Pokemon have "slow" starts with "strong" late game potential like T-Tar, and Froakie's not going to bail those pokes out. ALL defenders have a great start which helps any member of the team at the start of the game.
@@greenmenace9666 you dont even immagine how annoying is seeing a bad central area ally could be if he knows even how jungle works... ive seen many cinderace doing jungle and never seen in a fight once... its very tough carrying bad people especially playing speedster or attacker atm. I had games today unreal... i had games that i got ray multiple times and people didnt even know how to score. I think is the first time that happen to me in this game... instead of learning the game we literally going backwords 🤣. Even then i shouldnt use greninja on lane because realistically is BAD thrust me, im in a situation that i didnt have too many choices because all rounder is a class that im not very good on it mostly. Im better with attackers and defenders, when i had defenders we winning ray fights but my team cant secure him properly... Im playing attacker or leafeon (that is probably one of the few speedster i know how to use), and im getting ganged at ray fight even getting ko constantly... so hard... because my team mates didnt have vision or sometimes they arrive a split second later. Playing defender you need to provide vision to your team and make pressure if you are in an advantage position. Playing speedster you want to finish them when they are low health, and knowing when to engage.
@@raizen4597 Lol. I've had those days. I feel like Pokemon Unite appeals to more casual moba players who don't really pay attention to timers of any kind. I'm pretty good at every role except speedster and support. Defender is my favorite role to play, but I usually get sucked into All-Arounder and Attacker. Tanks have several roles in every moba, but if you're looking to carry as a Defender, I've personally found the need to sacrifice cc. As much as people might hate me, I'd recommend Crustle, Goodra, or Ho-oh because you can go and harass the enemy team for fun, and then hope your team figures out what they need to do in that time.
Well now I'm even less sure if I am the reason for loosing games now because of the fact of the frame issues and that I play a good amount of these mons
I personally think the stigma of rapid fire Auto Attackers needs to be changed. Not every Pokemon needs to be a complex mesh of button combos or effects and they provide value and have a different playstyle than other mons. But that's just me
Now we need a video on how to play all these Pokemon the right way.
I've helped many ally Dhelphoxes with getting the entire enemy team in a fire spin unite combo with Sableye
I can't tell sometimes if I'm good or bad with sable (cause it was the first support I bought) and I just used it to harrass the jungler, though I keep dying and I don't like being behind on levels lol
As sabley main i totally agree.
Sabley rely a LOT of how good your ally is
Only sable players think sable is good while the rest of the team hates you with there guts. Please learn any other supporter
Exactly. This spragels either misunderstands what he’s talking about or is just using the title to pull viewers.
These are absolutely Pokémon I hate seeing on the other team because that’s usually when a good player has them
If Greninja was called "Fighting Frog" It would just be a water version of blaziken or an All-Rounder in Unite
Instead of helping their team, Goodra players are trying to get big self-heal numbers even when tanking is unnecessary
Instead of helping their team, Zeraora players are running in and dying due to a lack of real understanding of its mechanics
Instead of helping their team, Machamp players are Submissioning around the map and taking jungle from people who actually want to farm it
Instead of helping their team, Snorlax (Flail) players are being ineffective defenders because they don't realize they're playing an all-rounder
Instead of helping their team, Tyranitar players are not leveling up effectively enough to join more than one potential big fight
Instead of helping their team, Talonflame are trying to back-cap and not even attempting to use its great fighting potential
Instead of helping their team, Mewtwo players are expecting to win as they always did by just mashing A
Instead of helping their team, Greninja players are off LARPing as ninjas away from the fights
Instead of helping their team, Decidueye players are trying to rip objectives even when it's to their team's detriment to do so
Instead of helping their team, Sableye players are halfway across the map doing something? sneaky
These mons seem to be easier for new players to fall into these traps due to their image/themes being so strong.
Facts especially as I've seen HORRIBLE Slowbros and it's simply because they just tank and use surf instead of using their pull and stun

Thanks for the vid, buddy. I thought Comfey will end up here too😂. I always paired with disgusting Comfey players.
You saved me time. Thank you kind sir.
true but if they're paired with a good enough all rounder comfey barely needs to play the Game, they can just latch onto one person and heal them
Same
Totally
@telekinetique so what essentially I am hearing is that comfey is only "good" because your allrounder player is good.
It's kinda sad to me that some people don't know how to play these incredible Pokemon
As with all Pokemon, you can sometimes get a "great" Zeraora, or Goodra, or whatever. But when you see those leftovers + potion in the character select screen, it does remove some of the suspense.
8:55 nah bro cinder not making this list is absolute criminal
Agreed. Cinder is top 3 for me tbh. All they do is rip any objective they see, avoid team fights and steal your team's jungle while proceeding to not use those levels to help yoir team and keepinf your jungler under levelled.
I could honestly put all the auto attackers but I thought the list would be a little boring so I picked a few.
Sounds like once again us Cinderace mains make it out like bunny bandits thanks to a well-timed use of Feint ya sees
4:15 we need the return of beard spragels
Great list Jake. I think some honorable mentions are Scizor and Gardevoir. Scizor: Loves to call jungle. Ganks a lane and might do decent because of its lvl 5 power spike. Stays in lane like a worse water bear and falls behind in levels immediately. Stops doing any damage and salty pings the team the rest of the game. Gardevoir: somehow each garde player finds a new way to break the worst item build in the game record. Somehow misses each unite move.
then there's that one in a milliion gigachad scyther player that trucks through the enemy team with 200k damage
Jake's Genie Wishes:
- Don't pair me with a Lane Greninja
- Don't pair me with a Lane Cinderace
- Don't pair me with a Lane Dragapult
Sorry Jake, but in the universe where they named him "Gresamurai", the Pokemon they put in Unite was Ninjarott.
He did say razor leaf decideye specifically... so you guys might be safe
@@greenmenace9666 Deci has been trash for a while. Nowhere good in solo queue and competitive.
@@Goldeneye3336 Interesting...especially since I climbed to high masters with Decidueye just last season.
Where's 6,000 game Charizard mains if I see a gold ribbon Charizard I die a little inside😢
That's me with any gold EX Pokemon. All I can think is "Why do you play this game?"
Hahah I had the same thing a few days ago. They even appeared on the opposing team and I knew we would win as soon as they picked it.
to be fair, if leftovers had any chance to be good, it would be with sableye.
Finally, because of the bad reputation, our allies use troll builds (I literally had a game were decidueye had both curse items and a rescue hood.) Overall, I love this video, but we Tyanitar mains have been done dirty for so long.
build full damage and get instantly ko'd is such a lie, doesn't mean ttar is any good though, it deserves more love.
@posobio I wish I could lie about building full damage and get instantly get k.o. instead. Tyanitar's ability stacks off of his defenses and not his offense. And when you use your unite move, everyone will focus on you, but you can't attack until the unite animation is done, which is about 3 seconds.
jake working crazy overtime flying to and fro hawaii just to give us a video to watch. MAD RESPECT!
Goodra is better than people think, IMO. I usually try bullying tanks & mages. (Spoon/Buddy/Assault vest or resonant/Full Heal).
That's how she's meant to be played :) Most players take Dragon Pulse and just take weird fights. I like muddy water much better.
I'm waiting for lane Talonflame, it's actually good if you stacked attack weight, you don't need to jungle
Most of the time it's me in lane getting backed by my loneliness but my teammates come to rescue me from my jungle all the time😂😂
I love zeraora lmao. spark discharge is phenominal when played well. Volt switch discharge is also phenominal when played well.
lowkey hoopa could be on this list… i rarely have a good hoopa on my team
Gave up trying to play Hoopa when low HP allies would literally eject button to get away from my town portals.
@@ChrisStavros big blue circle is scary!!!
thanks for the tips, im just gonna assert my dominance and play crit air slash dive cramorant in lane
I guess Decidueye's problem is that it needs to land its spirit shackle to be useful, but incredible range has to count for something.
the only attacker that does its job even with low dmg numbers is fire spin delphox, I love having an allied delphox.
1:35 LG and Nouns should have watched this before their matches 👀👀👀
8:30 fun fact- somewhere in the froakie line, one of them was originally gonna be named Frogue.
The blur........
What was he gonnna say i wonder ???
As a player this season 1600 elo I am 1-32 with sable eye on my team. That is all needed to be said about my feelings on this pokemon
Lol. Same. It was definitely one of my biggest hurdles to 1600 masters. Sableye, Talonflame (it's not bad, it's just played selfishly), and Machamp. I see any of those three and I think, welp, our teamfights are getting flushed down the drain--which is most of the game :)

@@quetzypoo I love Machamp too, I do. For me, I just hate seeing him in like 60-70% of my matches as I climb to 1600 Masters ^.^
Most squishy pokemon get popped quickly, and in solo q you can't depend on people to recognize when you're in trouble. That's why squishy pokemon aren't as reliable, but I still think they have real damage potential.
No matter what though, CC will always be king in these games.
A bad Goodra will be the weakest link on the team, a good Goodra can keep several enemies busy at once and become the most annoying thing to kill on the planet
You can say that about every defender
Not every defender has near-infinite sustain as long as there's a moron willing to get into range of it.
@@StephenChason-eu7he That's a fair point, but Goodra has a higher damage potential than most (and I'm talking Muddy Water). I like playing Defenders. Goodra outdamages them all. She has a niche in my book.

Having a good Deci just means it was his turn on the brain cell.

@@zoroarktheillusionfox571 yeah it’s so unfortunate 😭
I understand this well.
I am a really good player who plays a lot of different pokemon. This is actually a flaw for me since I have no better experience with specific pokemon. But I can say that my allies have no clue how to play the game.
Recently, I was playing with a comfy player and the problem is that they literally went afk on me. They had a macro and essentially went afk. When I died and they died, they didn't move when they respawned. And always used their moves the second they got em this included spamming the unite move.
#1 throwers for me have absolutely been scizors that ping jungle
Im surprised theres no cinderace
Allies on my team always pick cinder when theres already a jungler like char,or some greninja, etc and keep pinging thanks later in the game and another classic scenario, they stay in top side grass waiting with their unite only to fail agh
I personally love to think that my teamates are genuinely excited to see me pick clef just to realize I’m using follow me draining kiss
He's a Basic Biii -... tier. Basic B Tier.
I feel the same way about Cinderace as I do about Greninja. Maybe Cinder is even worse because it's a combination of bad Greninja and Decidueye: They never help the team and they rip Rayquaza no matter if all enemies are around... :/
By the way, I love these The Office clips. I should watch it - again :)
Lately, my sister and I have been duoing Goodra and aurora veil Ninetales (I'm Ninetales) and it's been incredibly effective. She plays dragon pulse to sustain and take/redirect damage while I freeze things in the backline and give her that sweet sweet ~30% damage reduction
I can 100% attest to the bad soloq Goodras though. I do think it's better than cynics say, but it's not as good as the enthusiasts say
to be fair, pulling with zeraora is wildly inconsistent in the games' codes
When my duo plays snorlax he plays heavy slam lax and we dominate the top lane.
When I get a rando lax it’s flail lax and they run ahead of all the bunelby and then proceed to die horribly to the enemy team.
I've seen a lot of Comfey lately who the moment first fight is lost they give up and run around taking all the ads then run as far away from team fights as possible to go score
Thought I’d see Duraludon in this list because every time I play as it I get left alone in lane.
Saltiest cowboy video I’ve ever seen. I love it. 😂
That Mewtwo players bit cracked me up
no cinderace on this list is huge criminal
but this is a great list... my worst list for the longest time was talonflame, cinder and deci..
Ayo thanks for the 10 shoutouts spragles
This video is gold, everything is just spot on.
You can put all the speedsters here. The class itself is highly misunderstood and requires high skill.
We can it Trollax (Flail Snorlax). It's funny because Greninja, Decideye, and Cinderace players have the WORST game tech skills, but you literally see them one of them every single game, more than likely by the lowest MMR player.
i do agree that a fair amount of decidueye players are trash at the game but as a guy who mains decidueye as an attacker we're not all that bad hah
I agree. I think it's more of a skill issue than the Pokemon.
I say that about cinderace but people say cinderace is the worst so I just accepted it and now when I play unite as cinderace and win I feel godly xD
Jake come back we need the streams back!!
Prepare for trouble. And make it a double, triple, quadruple helping of zeraora brought to you by this year's WCS
lol i main sebleye. what i hate is when you try to protect your allie by fearing the enemy team so they can run and escape. but they try to attack and end up getting KO and still they blame you.
Duraludon not being on this list means Duraludon mains be winning at long last
Used to queue with a submission machamp who had shell bell This wasn't his main pokemon But we only ever lost 1 battle
Me who is a dynamic punch machamp player:this is fine
Hard choice but only way i can see goodra is being stuck 1v5 stalling the enemy team while the team revives/makes a play elsewhere
As a guy who played DotA clones for years maining tanks/initiators I feel pretty confident with Tytar even if I'm a returning player. Yet I'm sure I will be THAT Tytar on your team for some time, but it's too cool to not play it, so...
Greninja, cindrace and decis are the worst
The worst allies are the people who loses their characters in draft mode and then throw
Me when...
Goodra: "What part of "DEFENDER needed!' do you not understand?"
Zeraora: "Oh boy, a squishy All-Rounder with no CC."
Machamp: "...Eh, I'm sure his heart is in the right place at least..."
Snorlax: "Rapid Fire Scarf, no EXP Share... yeah this is just gonna be a weaker Outrage D-nite that at least doesn't have to evolve."
Tyranitar: "Uhhhg, the first six minutes is gonna be 4v5..."
Talonflame: Ok seriously what's the deal with Gold Ribbon T-flames?
You haven't been paying attention for the past two years, and I know you won't pay attention for the next ten minutes."
(Honestly I haven't had that many issues with Mewtwos, and I'm very surprised Gengar didn't make the cut.)
Greninja: "Bro thinks he's him. One might even say he Believe it."
Decidueye: "I swear to god Razor Leaf Deci players and even some of the Spirit Shackle players all share ONE brain cell, and based on the Potion Rescue Hood Score Shield Razor Claw, it is NOT our Deci's turn!"
Sableye: *"Begone, wretched spawn of Satan.
Videos like this that make players tilt directly from the start of the game.. but still entertaining to watch
Honestly, this just boils down to 'actually be a team player'. Because everything you listed are just players who don't help their team, and those are the worst kinds of allies.
Funny thing, sableye, has been my favorite mon this season! I just wish people knew how exp share works 😂
Afk isn't as harmful to the team as inting
@@ChrisStavros True. At least you get elo If they afk. If they Int then you just lose.
There's different levels of inting. I become a lot more aggressive when I'm behind because I hope for a ko and a massive xp boost. Then there are people who tilt and run to the enemy jungle and stand there ^.^
The thing is I play lane Greninja and I can provide a lot of value to the team with my defender defenses and allows me to get in and get out
Greninja lane is NOT good.
But that's just me
Crustle and Greedant who only go around scoring
Spragles it's the player's fault not the pokemon's
Man's was not cooking whatsoever.
Cut to me trying out mimikyu for the first time and averaging about 2 kills per game 😂
Snipe shot Inteleon should have been here. As someone whos terrible with snipe shot, I will miss static targets and end the game with 17k damage
