The other day I was wondering how Cultivator Colossus is a mythic and whether it was a noteworthy card in EDH or anything. Still not sure if I have my answer right here but that definitely is a way to use it to some effect, lol.
I tried it myself. The biggest difference is there are more lands that have stuff they can do. So if the 80/80 gets removed, and the gate wincon is turned off, there still is options for victory.

Would it possibly be a good idea to do something like include Port of Karfell, so that you have a land that lets you revive Cultivator Colossus if it gets killed?
This deck is better with esika as commander, and that way you can have upto 5 non-creature, non-planeswalker spells, like teferis protection, torment of hailfire, etc... plus you could include creature lands in your mana base, another wincon with esika could be fling
If you want to build another Combo deck I can recommend Esika Timestream Navigator. Play some ways to make creatures like gnotvold slumbermound or the white MDFC mythic. You probably want some haste enablers too so you don't have to keep your Navigator alive for a turn. Keep in mind that you can activate the navigator with the bridge trigger on the stack to start the combo without a haste enabler if you managed to keep him alive for 1 turn.
I played against a variation of this deck recently. Of course, I was playing Sheoldred, the Apocalypse so I would have won if they stopped playing lands but they choose to draw out instead. I would have had a very funny victory. Instead my opponent scooped in style.
My opinion is the odds of you drawing into and using it are slim if you didn't already have it in hand. This is a glass cannon style deck, so if you whiff...you whiff.
I think a better version of this is Old Stickfingers + 7 or so reanimation spells + Veil of Summer + Torment of Hailfire (I also run Dig Up for consistency). It is slightly less reliable than the First Sliver version at the beginning, since you do need to mulligan into a reanimation spell. However, it's more resilient to countermagic (since you're running reanimation, so it's usually not as bad if Colossus hits the bin), and it gives you some board presence in the first few turns so your opponents can't just run you over with big stompy. Moreover, you have two reanimation spells (Blood for Bones + Return Upon the Tide) that are turn four plays, and Diregraf Rebirth can also be a turn four play if you attack with Old Stickfingers and get them to block. Oh also, given that the deck is only two colors and you're running 90 lands, you're never gonna get mana-screwed.
Another option aside from (or as well as) maze's end is to play 6 man lands and the sacrifice lands from kaldheim (the ones that put creatures into play) - however, the man lands do add some more rare wildcards to your costs. I was playing something similar in the arena mid-week event this week with the free cascade triggers.
