This 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was converted from a coupe to a pickup truck by American Custom Coachworks, Ltd. from Beverly Hills, California later in 1980. The truck is powered by a 425ci V8 engine paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes carpeting, beige vinyl roof liner, bright trim, cruise control, automatic climate control, a power driver's seat and 15-inch Cragar wire wheels, as well as power windows and door locks. The car was produced by Cadillac as a 1979 Coupe DeVille and was converted into a model "Paris" pickup truck by American Custom Coachworks in 1980. Finished in brown with a contrasting beige vinyl roof and pinstripes, the vehicle features an exposed pickup bed and a "Paris" brand emblem on the B-pillar. Chrome Cragar 15″ wire-laced wheels are mounted with 235/70 Cooper Lifeliner Touring SLE whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is from power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The pickup bed features brown carpeting as well as a fold-down tailgate with rubber load strips. The vinyl roof covering extends to the back of the cab and along the side bed rails. The 425ci V8 was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
