And I'm wondering if you timed this right so you get to skate across my baby, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, on the annual Bridge Walk day. I hope so! I loved doing that walk when I lived there.

That is soo cool, i recently starting rollerblading here in the Netherlands , still trying to learn how to stop properly.
If you want to do Delaware you could probably find someone with a big enough boat you can roller skate on while you're crossing the river and boom!

Dude, mad respect for your adventurous spirit! Do you get any joint pain after skating for these epic routes/runs of long distance? I wish I could but my knees would absolutely give up after 2 hours, lol. In my 20s I think I would've been able to though. 40s, ehh not so much.
Haha yeah now that I’m almost 30 I definitely get a bit if knee pain on long skates. But as long as I’m not doing a crazy amount of spins and tricks then it usually doesn’t get too bad

Wow what kind of skates do you use? I'm in Waldorf maryland just getting back into inline skating. I have these twister 80s but man they hurt my feet and my lower back aches within mins of skating. I'm thinking about trying soft boot.
Mine are the fr1 skates. A soft boot isn’t as good. I would just try to keep pushing through and build up your back and feet to get used to the twisters. Those are great skates.

I love your videos dude, please take care. We all know your skills so please don't take unnecessary dangers like that bridge. One bad move and you're dead and a driver and possibly a family would be scarred for life because they just killed / ran over someone at highway speed.

You started off the video well by stating you didn't want to be disingenuous by taking a short route or one that could be seen as "cheating". But you then went against that by finding not only a short route, but one that can definitely be seen as cheating. I hope this weighs on what's left of your conscience for the rest of your life. It would be best that you use bigger wheels while skating long distances next time..maybe 110mm or 125mm wheels. Be safe on the road.

Great video! Just a few tips. Longer strides are more efficient. A speedometer would be a cool addition too! Skating beside all the large trucks along a tiny side walk made me nervous for you. Stay safe! :O. Guess you must be the first person who ever skated on the sidewalk on that bridge!
5:40😬😬😬🤐😶 - Dude - that driver crossed a "double solid" yellow, into *the lane going the wrong way*, for you - DO NOT count on that - it's highly illegal for them, & dangerous as hell for them - they're driving the wrong way, into incoming traffic🚗💥
Where I live, roller skaters are to act as pedestrians in traffic. That means they should use the sidewalk when available. If the sidewalk isn't available, they should stay on the left side of the road in order to better see motor vehicles approaching. The way you constantly have to check behind you is beyond dangerous. If you go on the left side of the road, you'll be able to make eye contact with oncoming drivers, and you'll be able to see silent hazards like cyclists or electric cars.

It is a bit misleading saying the entire state but it is not a lie as you are literally going from the bottom of the state to the top part, but you have chosen a really thin part of the state.
