    Very interesting but a bit unorganized. How much script did you write before the video?
    In Europe SK 30/40/50 is the eqivelant to CAT/BT. HSK is a whole nother level.
    I have never seen or even heard of a shop that runs exclusively HSK tooling on everything. SK 40 is very common, at least where I live.

      We don’t run production. We remanufacture CNC spindles but we do have a full CNC shop to manufacture & remanufacture spindle components for our Spindle Room. Thanks for the input as I really do appreciate the feedback. Have a great day

      To me, a spindle is a spindle - but what you have is much more complex. You also appear to have a selection there - and that doesn't help. I was not even convinced by what you were saying was actually correct (regarding encoders).
      My train of thought to cover this interesting topic, would be for you to start with your most complex CNC spindle completely stripped down to the actual spindle the chuck etc. mounts to. Then make the video cover the rebuilding of it peiece by piece explaining what each of the pieces does.
      My guess is the CNC spindle does nothing but rotate and hold a 'chuck'. Very simple. So the first question is speed range - and I'd guess that's almost 0-max speed in almost finite steps. I'll have a guess: 0·001 to 5000 rpm ? So if you wanted a speed of 2463·841 rpm, you could have that.
      I'd also expect a speed of 0 and a position anywhere between 0·000 and 359·999°
      I'd also expect the spindle to carry chuck control connections - electrical and either pneumatic or hydraulic.
      So build the whole thing, bit by bit explaining what each bit does and how - if it needs explaining - such as chuck electrical connections via brushes and slip rings.

    They are made in Germany by Mori Corp. Tolerance of 1 10 thousands of an inch.
