Thanks for the review. The racquet sounds metallic when struck, the contrast clear compared to the sound of your opponent's racquet. Did you notice? I wonder why that is?
I was using an extreme tour but don’t get good control. Also tried vcore 95 and 98 but can’t adapt to the isometric shape for my forehand. But I’m still trying. I use heavy topspin and one handed backhand. I slice and use topspin with my backhand. I’m a baseliner and have a fast swing. Will also demo some Dunlop rackets specially the sx and cx, maybe the fx. Would you recommend the shift for me considering my playing style. I’m a pretty advanced player and like to whip the racket with power.
Great video! What is the string that you would recommend and in what tension for the 300g, please? Or do you still recommend Luxilon ALU 1.25 at 54 lbs?
Because of you and luck that i found one, i am demo’ing a shift 300!!! Did you swap to the Luxilon ALU 1.25 at 54lbs vs your original setup at 52lbs? The strings that came with the demo are wilson NXT 1.32, tbh i don’t like the strings so i kind of hope i break them during my demo (since they are already frayed haha) I found I have significantly less control vs the prostaff v14 It also feels really light at 300 vs 315 of the v14. Did you increase the weight yet? I think I’d want to put maybe a leather grip in it or some lead tape to add a bit more weight. The spin and power is incredible! I am overshooting my shots a bit, so I’ll try and add my spin to my shots tomorrow. Would love to hear if you’ve updated it at all! Thanks coach!
Hey! Great to hear that I have yet to swap the string out for a higher tension but I did use my friends shift racket. I do prefer a higher tension for more control and the launch angle is slightly higher than previous rackets used. I have not added any weights and it is pretty light so I will be keen to try out the 315 racket with the different string pattern. All the best with your Wilson Shift racket 😄
I tried the older version of the yonex Ezone 98 and the shift provides more spin & the shot trajectory off the racket is higher. Ezone was easier to control but the Shift provides that bit more pop
Awesome review! I am in the process of demoing rackets right now I am debating between the Babolat Pure Aero 98 and the Yonex Vcore 98, I wonder how this Wilson Shift compares? Have you tried either of the two aforementioned rackets?
Thanks Vincent! Afraid I have not tried either but I have heard good things. I believe the Shift provides a bit more spin and power than the other rackets.
@@Tenniswithdylan more spin than the Babolat Pure Aero 98? Woah, that’s quite the spin!!! Hmm i def need to check it out, it is 1 sq inch larger so make sense
Nice review Sir. Glad to watch you playing. I am currently using ezone 98 304gms and almost fine with it. Wanted to add another good raquet to my bag. My current ezone 98 as it is head light is bit weak in handling heavy speed balls to my one handed backhand so I am forced to defend with backhand slice. Do you suggest Shift?
nice hitting!!!I’m an all court player.. 4.0 senior… need a lighter racket that would be good for my one-hander, good for flat shots as well as spin and slice, and good for touch, drop shots, etc. Will this 300 gram Shift support my game? Best, John
Thx for the review! Really interested to see what you think of the 315, the differences between the two, and who they're each best for.
Thanks! Yes sure will do if I can get my hands on one
Old man darn good!
Aha kinda still got it
Your an excellent player, really like your timing, you control your movements economically.
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words
Im really considering to buy this raquet... great review👍👍👍
Yes it’s a great racket! I recommend trailing it out first. Thanks for the comment
Great review Dylan. Am excited to try the Shift!😊
Great review, Dylan!!
Thanks Ale!
Nice review! Yes, would be nice if you get the chance to test the 315g version, too.
Thank you! Yes I’m keen to try it out
Nice review buddy 😎
Thanks man!
Sweet racket 😄
Thanks for the review. The racquet sounds metallic when struck, the contrast clear compared to the sound of your opponent's racquet. Did you notice? I wonder why that is?
Hope you enjoyed the review!
I did not notice that, possibly the looser strung tension. It did not feel any different when playing
Damn the dude volleying to you has the skills
Ahah yes! He is a top player in the country for vets in the UK

Yes the shift is a great racket for spin and the 16x20 pattern will suit you well if you are looking for topspin and power

Yes Wilson Alu power 52 pounds would be great too
good review, where can I buy the wilson labs bag?
Thank you! Coming soon in summer
I wanna try it
Yes you will like it bro!
Hey, how was 4G black compared to the usual yellow 4G pls? Nice review 😉
Thanks, pretty much identical

What string tension did you use on this racket, i think its important to know it
How would you compare this racket to the Yonex Ezone 98 2022? (power, contol, maneuverability, sweetspot)
Thank you!

@@Tenniswithdylan So the shift is more powerfull compared to the Ezone 98?
Hello! What the different wilson ultra 100 v4 vs shift ? Thank you
If you get an on spec 315 version it requires zero adjustments via lead
Oh yes, good to know
Have you tried the 315 version yet?
Not yet, hopefully soon

I subscribed, just because you’re left handed.
Do you consider to switch ?
Potentially, just need to do a few more tests with different strings and tension to see 😃

Hey John, yes if you are looking for an all round racket. It is well balanced so it does not feel 300g. Arm friendly too, highly recommend
have they leaked the release date?
Not yet, you can buy this prototype. It should be released in the summer
Don't care much about the racket, just like the way you play
Aha thanks, would you like to see some more points play
