  • A great late morning to fly. Beautiful clouds and sunshine. But the long grass is tough to land in. And the Ranger flipped on landing!

I flipped mine up on its nose first time today. Landing and hit a rut. Plopped right over, lol

Hi Dave. Thanks for stopping by and watching the video. That is so easy to do. I've done it a ton since they aren't doing maintenance on this field any more since it isn't being used by the schools.

@Drones_Eye_View I'm uploading mine for that plane right now.

@@RCDave64 I'll be looking for it! Thanks for sharing the video. BTW, the Runcam 6 I had died and can't read the microSD card. Runcam support has taken 11 days of back and forth for them to say I have to send it in and it will take at least 30 days to repair it since they have so many in the shop. Or I could buy a PCB board for $40, a $9 discount. No thanks.

@Drones_Eye_View sorry to hear that. Kinda sucks. Mine has been solid so far.

@@RCDave64 Right. I'm flying with the 808 #32S I got on Amazon for $41. It is ok and is only 17 grams so works with the UMX planes well.

How do you like that plane?

Hi, I've really enjoyed it. No flaps but I plan to change that in Sept. I'll add nav lights too to fly in the early evening. It is not fast and you can fly it slow. I've gone full throttle and hit mid-50s mph. I've had a lot of fun doing touch and goes with it as I learned how to land. And I fly this in optimized mode most of the time.
