Wow! How does that Neve sound?
Hey man,
It sounded amazing, and I am a big fan of 8078 consoles... I find them warm, rich, and very musical sounding :)
I also had the honor of working with another Neve 8078 at Ocean Way Studios as well, a dream for tracking drums.

Hope you are well!
@@thomas_juth I can imagine. Is there a sonic difference with the 8068? Thank you
@@preciseaudioblog Sorry, my bad, this is of course a Neve 8058. I was referring to the 8078 over at Ocean Way Studios. Both are amazing, and I love all the 80-series Neves equally as much. :)
From my own experience, I find that the 8058 and 8068s are warmer and more colored, while the 8078 is more open and clear-sounding. But of course, these are very subtle differences.
So, where are you based, by the way?
@@thomas_juth Oh, cool. It’s hard for me to make a difference in the 80 series. Wow, that’s what I’ve heard, being the 68 more colorful. I am currently in Perú.
Pourquoi l'ingénieur a-t-il fait un petit grimace à la fin de la prise?
Haha, the truth is, I was really loving what I was hearing, and that face at the end was my way of saying, damn, wow!
