Very good and important video for safety. I always put safety first too for my haunted houses. For 1 the customers and my actors. Agree 100% . Nic needs some magnets on his shoes! Haha
I have a ton of respect for you owners of great haunted houses..I personally can't walk through the parking lot of most of them lol. But I love building this stuff...you stay safe and god bless..
Haters gonna hate! Imagine getting upset with a business owner for having the passion to make sure his customers and staff are safe! People getting hurt is a no no but also in 2024 a lot of people are sue and lawsuit happy! Keep kicking ass Larry!

Make them breakdown in sections so they could be moved easier in haunts! Many haunts are set up year round and having existing sets pre build it can be difficult moving them around. Luckily the pro haunt I’m at we are outdoor and can maneuver better. But A lot of haunts have to literally cut them down for them to be moved around and they then have to weld or put it back together. Also having a good base where you can bolt the animation down into the ground. Lastly hire a good sculptor or learn how to sculpt well and work with foams latex and of course pneumatics. If you can do those things than you will stand out from everyone else. That’s what I would do if I were you :)

I always go through with an angle grinder and grind down any screws/staples poking through anywhere so they are flush with the plywood

Thanks brother. Now you know you leave screws on the floor you’re getting an ass kicking
The Darkness is, hands down, the absolute best haunt we have been to. So well themed, and so much fun.
100% agree! Safety is paramount and unwavering
Tell that to the smart ass who thinks i shouldn’t get upset about lazy people leaving screws all over the floor

No never. lol
Thank you Larry I'm learning so much from you to put into my own event.
No problem more videos coming
Do you have any tips for a person trying to get into the animatronic building industry?
