Thanks for the video as always ! Gotta warn everyone about printing gold/silver foil DTF film on leather - it could leave excessive foil on leather. Especially on leather with aging effect.
@@DTFSuperstore That is what I also use. Remember to preheat the cloth for the first one on the run. Then always double your normal press time. Works fantastic for my shop.
Thanks for the video. I was just wondering about faux leather. Have you guys tried pearl weave material like on a JiuJitsu uniform top? Say like a back patch?
Which dtf printer are you using? Didnt see a direct link for that one in the info box for the big one
I believe we used the Mimaki TxF300 but this can be done with any of our DTF printers! dtfsuperstore.com/collections/dtf-printers
Can I use fabric transfer paper on the leather?
Very informative, thank you for all those tests.
My pleasure! I'm glad you found it helpful.
If doing leather coasters, should you seal the leather afterwards to prevent moisture affecting the print? Will sealing it affect the image?
That's a good idea. It shouldn't we have used sealers on other products we've DTF'd so you should be fine.
@@DTFSuperstore thank you!

Great tip! That's precisely why we don't currently offer any foil films as they all have that same tendency.

What could we expect with longevity on these items? Same as a shirt?

Not yet! but we'll look into it.
Will cold peel film work the same. I have a problem when peeling the film that some print is still stuck on the film and not on the leather.
Yes, it should! the leather may take longer to cool back to room temperature than a shirt.
@@DTFSuperstore do I need to treat the leather before I press. The print sticks to the film.
I need a test on marine vinyl, please!
Great idea. We'll have to give that a try!
Use color graphics.
When you squint its mint
