Feeney wasn't funny at all, he explained his jokes, what comedian does that? He rushed it like he had to get it out, his timing was off. The jokes were mean, told with the sound of anger in his voice
He’s one of the least aggressive opponents of Dina. Which actually works to his advantage, because usually they over compensate and appear angry which makes them a lot less funny. Especially when you throw in her dead pan sets.

The extra mile Dina goes to write jokes that actually catch you off guard really pays off, makes the opponent look kinda simple like they are serving up tired, low-hanging fruit.
I love watching Eli when he's not roasting. He just sorta sits there to himself like an introvert lost in his head. That's probably why he's so great with his jokes.
