Hi Robert.. Im a former victim of psychiatric abuse, at 19yrs old I was forcefully committed against my will.
Firstly I want to thank you for your advocacy in this arena, your comprehension of the issue is absolutely marvelous for somebody who has never suffered it., you truly are an empath.
I'm not sure if you are aware or not but there is a direct link between Pituitary Tumors and Psyche Drugs. Dopamine is a prerequesite for the creation of Leutenizing Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone, which in turn creates Spermatozoa and Testosterone. The damage to the Dopamine Process causes a Pituitary Cyst which then floods the brain and body with Prolactin and is referred to as a Prolactinoma. The Prolactinoma now in turn creates a slew of psychiatric like symptoms from brain fog to headaches, light and sound sensitivity, overwhelming anxiety and more
If you are unaware of this please research it and add it into your presentations to show the real harm being caused by these drugs. Thank you

it seems the most important factor in recovery is to avoid at all costs anything to do with the mental ill health system.

I feel like a depression episode was prolonged for 30 years by medications. Once off the medications, the person recovered and has remained well for 10 years. Dr. David Burns said that he can cure a lot of depression in one session. He said in the 70s the serotonin hypothesis is wrong.

    • @clausdamsgaard

Science maybe claims serotonin is a neurotransmitter that causes happiness in the d2-receptors, however stupid that is

To any mental health practitioners that believe they fully understand the human psyche, remember this quote from Shakespeare: “There are more things in Heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”

These doctors don’t care about philosophy. They will just go for biased pseudoscience to boost their credibility and oh yes, fatten their pockets. I hope religion will condemn these ppl to eternal hell.

People are afraid of madness and overwhelming sadness/depression so MUST believe in medicine for hope of a future., which turns this (consumption of chemicals/drugs) into a religion.

In general, mental health is the development of a mental + emotional dedication - a cathexis!

Presently detained at Hartley Centre in Southport Uk..under Section 135act mental health care..acted on from a misrepresented/defamatory medical report written over three years ago. The offer of amendment to the report never pursued! ultimately the result from a sensitive complaint I had made to the police re new neighbour's/business and what I believe to be criminal activity present...
Into my sixth week here now..absolutely unfounded detention with no rational explanation! "Beware"...

All psychiatric "diagnoses" are the equivalent of diagnosing pneumonia as "Coughs a Lot Disorder." They're nothing more than using a symptom of the illness and calling it the illness. What matters is what's causing the symptom but psychiatrists aren't able to talk about physical causes. For example, the NIH says that the protozoal infection, Toxoplasmosis gondii, is the real cause of 20% of all cases of schizophrenia. This disease is commonly contracted from a cat that killed and ate a rat that was infected with it. The protozoa is often spread to humans when they clean out the cat box because the cat's feces give off spores of the protozoa which are then breathed in by the human. These protozoa produce cysts that can grow anywhere in the body. When they grow in the brain, the result is typically psychosis of some sort. Two of my family members were infected from our sick cat. I was infected, too, but only in my heart. I cured it naturally. One family member who was diagnosed with "bipolar with psychosis," has also been cured naturally. The other relative will be on antipsychotics for life because her mother believes in whatever nonsense the conventional psychiatrists tell her. The NIH further states that the herbal extract, artemisinin, is quite good at killing the T. gondii protozoa. So why don't psychiatrists routinely do a trial of artemisinin on all their psychotic or schizophrenic patients? They might actually CURE 20% of them. Of course, I already know why: it's because psychiatrists do as they are told by the APA and the APA doesn't want to lose any paying customers.

It is gratifying that there are people like Robert who observe the prevailing perception in an inquisitive manner, while observing the people who experience difficulties in their lives in such a respectful way. It fills me with hope.

I am sorry I missed the talk/lecture. For people worried about medication, look up the definition of medication vs drug. No one is going to stop you from getting your legal drugs, if you want them.

As a person with a bipolar diagnosis, I wish he would stop using the term "manic-depressives". Maybe it's irrational, but it makes it a little harder for me to take him seriously.

It's crazy how many doctors still believe in this never proven to be right imbalance theory. I am not sure if this will ever change though, there is so much money involved into it. How can this video have only 6900 views :/
