Since this was on our very whimsical Variety Night concert, and Moanin' always has an intro of some sort, I decided on my own intro *with a twist*. The performance begins with "The Chicken Dance." However, I only told the drummer and guitarist that it would begin that way. It was a funny prank on the band, and a great surprise for the audience when I got to that first note of Moanin'. Hope you enjoy!

the bari player johnny was playing bari with me in big band under the direction of karl udang when i was there at camp (session middle school a) couple weeks ago. My friend xavier who is also a bari player was in the audience when this
