I’m in love with my DeMillier London Midi New York bag. I’ve had it for 3 weeks and it’s my everyday bag. The quality of the pebbled leather is amazing. Yuzefi is also on my consideration list. I think you and I texted about it lol

@@mrsleyva I also own the smooth leather Vancouver bag. The quality is really good but the pebbled leather the excellent. I think smooth leather is not their thing. I would definitely buy another bag in pebbled leather from DeMellier cause it’s so good. However their smooth leather I own better. Like COACH smooth leather is way better and Tory Burch and does not have that plastic feel.
I have been so tempted to order the Demellier midi New York in their chocolate brown suede, but I am trying to pace myself because in the last month or so I bought the Coach Brooklyn 39 in tan suede, the 28 in the brown leather & a mini & a regular size cyme bags from Polene. I was able to get their new black cherry color & I love it! I really like the quality of all these bags & although I bought 4 of them within a month, I still didn’t spend what I would’ve normally spent on a high end designer bag. I have been skeptical with Demellier bc a while back I had ordered their Vancouver bag & I was very underwhelmed by the quality plus I am not a fan of the design of the clutch in most of their bags so I ended up returning it. The midi New York does seem to be more my style so I might end up giving in soon.🤗

@@mrsleyva I got it in the moc croc so that might have been why it looked so cheap, but to be honest I also dont like the big double bar lock that most of their bags have. I don’t know why, but I don’t. I’m glad the New York style doesn’t have that. Oh & my Cyme in the black cherry in the large size. I just took it with me as a travel bag & Im still using it as a daily bag. It is annoying that the snap buttons on the sides can easily become undone when you open the bag to grab something while it’s on your shoulder, but I still love it! The color is perfect for this fall! Although I will say that I do prefer the mini size, which I got in the camel color. I will eventually add another one in either the new root or the Ebony color. I originally wanted the large Cyme in the Ebony color, but I wasn’t sure if it looked more black than brown. I want it to be a dark chocolate brown. Black bags are not really my thing.
@maris5508 I agree with the two large bar details from Demellier. Yes, I did notice the snap buttons but I will confirm if gets better the more you use it Like the sides wont cinch in as quickly, if that makes sense. 🙂 Now that you say you prefer the mini you're making think if I need another 😂😂 I am not crazy on black bags either but I feel like I needed a black tote & the ebony was not around at that time 😅
Considered getting a DeMellier bag but I wanted to see the leather and bag for myself. Had a chance to play with these models plus the Vancouver, Tokyo, Montreal bags that were on display in Galeries Lafayette in Paris last month, and I have to say they all look really worn, and the leather felt like it was coated with plastic. In my head, I thought this is how it will wear and tear. There’s one in the suede option as well, though I forgot what I thought about it.
I own many DeMellier pieces in various styles, leather types, and colorways. . The leather is beautiful quality. It’s definitely not plastic feeling.
