I've been so impressed with both your curiosity and the respectful tone of your questions. Thank you so much for that. And don't worry at all about the pronunciations.
I'll dd another artist recommendation to your list: Ishai Ribo ua-cam.com/video/Y30pfWIQfoo/v-deo.html

I'll try clarifying as much as I could.
    1) Yes, Jewish men can wear whatever they want on their head (technically they don't even need to wear a yarmulka so long as their head is covered. One reason for this custom is so that you constantly remember G-d)
    2) The straps on the head and arm are called tefilin. They're worn by the morning prayers (shachris) (there's a lot of meaning behind this custom but I won't get into it I'm sure you could find youtube videos explaining it) also as a side note that elderly man wasn't leading the prayers-Jewish prayers aren't like other religions-its not a sermon being given by the Rabbi.
    3) They were showing two separate camps. The camp is definitely not both boys and girls. No true orthodox camp or school is mixed.
    4) You were pretty spot on with regards to the meaning of the song. It's basically saying how the reward of doing one good deed (the schar of doing a mitzvah) is another mitzvah--one good deed leads to another.
Loving these videos. Keep up the great work! So much good jewish music out there. (Edit: congrats on 100!)

The song talks about doing kindness and good to others - a mitzvah. And whoever does a mitzvah with joy, God will grant him to do a greater mitzvah... (doing a mitzvah is a cornerstone in Judaism)

they’re wearing tefillin, and they start wearing it when they are bar mitzvah (13) during prayer. The song is about mitzvot (good deeds) and being rewarded by G-d :)

2:30 - Any head-covering is a head-covering. Now, because people don't wear Baseball Caps all day, having a had that doesn't have any other "propose" seems to be what one would be wearing.
Also, some people hold by the stringency that when they pray, they put on a second head-covering. So that's why many would wear a Black-Hat/Fedora/Similar over the Yamaka.

You can wear a hat over a kippah/yarmulkah. The things they are wearing on their heads are called "tefillin." It is something worn during specific prayers every day. The message is the reward for a good deed is the opportunity to do more good deeds. It is not traditional dancing- just dad dancing (easy choreography kids could follow)
