    Mega thumbs up on Libby. I’ve used it this past year to listen to around 500 hours of audiobooks, almost all by Brandon Sanderson. Pro tip: you can avoid waiting in huge lines for audiobooks by making use of the suspension feature. Basically, you put a hold on a book, then suspend your hold. You always just select 6 months, as you can set it back to active at any time. When a hold is suspended, you’ll move towards the front of the line as normal, but when you get to the front you’ll just stay there and let people pass you in line until you set it to active. You can do holds like this on up to 10 books at a time.
    Think of it as sending out 10 robots to stand in line at Disney world rides, long before you even enter the park. Then, you just replace the robot at the front of the line, and ride without personally waiting. At most, you wait for the “next car” (ie the very next book return).
    Combine that technique with checking the auto-checkout box when you change your hold to active, and it makes things a breeze.

Like bending steel wire, opening packages(without the need of opening the scissors), stripping wires, cutting plastic sheet and thin metal sheet, etc.. And pliers I have the PZ-58 and PZ-59, the first one is medium-small size, and the second is the one you use as a last resort. Both have serrated teeth, horizontally and longitudinally. You can use them as normal pliers or to remove screws/bolts with the head stripped or rusted. In the US they sell them as Vampliers, but they are the same thing just in red color instead of green.

    is it telling that the Tested boys feature toys and the Tested women feature tools? just saying...

    • @PhantommenacePC
      @PhantommenacePC 5 років тому

      J Godsey it’s the nature of the channel. The channel covers “making” and nerd/tech stuff. Thus there will be tools, tech, video production equipment, and “nerd toys”. More of the nerd toys will generally trend towards being guy stuff made as display models to sit on shelves. The female/feminine equivalent would be Pinterest-type decorations (which plenty of these women probably enjoy), but those types of things don’t generally fall under the purview of this channel and the content it typically features. Thus, when everyone tries to find fav things to show on the channel, the guys will show more nerd toys (and tools/equipment), while the girls will tend more towards the tools/equipment without the toys/display models.
      Or to put it another way, the types of “toys” that fit on this channel are the same types of displays that often fail the “girlfriend/wife test” (ie will she be accepting of it being displayed openly in the house). Meanwhile, the Pinterest-type displays/decorations don’t fit the channel, thus skewing the picks of the girls.

    Try those files on steel, then lets see how "diamond" they really are:)

      They're the same synthetic diamond used on diamond cutting discs, boring cutters, etc, so are actually probably fine on steel.

      7 dollars a sett. Real diamondfile (1) costs about 50 dollars depending how big it is. And yes, i use them almost daily when working.

      I use a similar set to sharpen carbid tips on tools and knifes so I do think that it is diamonds. The type of dust used on tools like this are not that expensive.

      Wearing jewelry like rings and necklaces is not a good idea in a shop setting. If it gets caught in a machine, it will pull the attached body part in with it. Safety first!
