- I took the Shinkansen high speed bullet train from Tokyo Station to Shin-Ōsaka Station. I start by transferring from the subway and finish by boarding the subway in Osaka. I may post the full train ride at a later date.

You did a great job John, and I'm always glad to see more trains on the channel! One thing that would be cool for future train trips, especially highspeed rail, is to add a speedometer app on your phone and show the current speed on the phone screen a few times during the trip. Something that's not only interesting but can be done without any speaking. Here's to more rail fan content! 🍻 🚅

東海道新幹線は開業から60年経過したので、劣化が激しく、最高速度が285kmしか出せません。
それは間違っています。
東海道新幹線が開業時した６０年前は時速320Km/hを想定していなかったのでカーブの曲率半径がその速度に対応していないのです。
つまり線形的に不可能なのであって劣化が激しいからではありません。
尚、東海道新幹線より新しい山陽新幹線や東北新幹線は時速320Km/hでの運行に対応しています。
特にカメラ出とるときは日本では
モザイクなどを徹底すると良いと思います。
