Hi, wonderful pattern. Perhaps,, I m unable to create shirr though adjusted tension. Tried almost 30 to 40 times but no luck. I have brother Fs101 sewing machine. Ca u pls guide how to fix this issue.
Awesome tutorial.Print of fabric is eye-catching.If Im sewing frock of 33cm chest, how much fabric should I use so that it fits properly or remain a little bit loose??I think if the same measurement is shirred it will become tight.Julie your feedback will be appreciated.😊😊
Glad to hear you liked the video!🤗 When shirring, it really depends on the fabric how much it will gather - lightweight fabrics will gather more than medium weight fabrics, even with same machine settings and same elastic thread. I usually do at least +50% larger measure for gathering (lets say if bust is 100cm, I would cut at least 150cm for shirring). Hope this helps!
I love the shirt you are wearing in this tutorial. You both are so beautiful together!
Thank you! That's a linen dress I made a few years back using Burda Style pattern - one of my favourite clothes!
I am going to try & create a matching mommy and me set 🥰 thank you for the detailed instructions.
Mommy and me set sounds amazing!🤩
