Nope, try using the device prior the update for a few days. Then you can compare it with the updated version and even roll back to last version in case you don't like the updated one.
I tried the default password but that did not work . I can have the andriod auto wireless working. But my phone screen is not getting replicated on the Car Info system
Since the continue blinking of the blue light seems leading to no connection to be a common issue, the manufacturer should rectify the fault and update the users.
The only workaround I could find for that is to temporarily disable the bluetooth on the othe phone which you don't wish to connect to your car. There isn't any specific setting in the device itself.
In the update app it has car, model etc. i have a 2003 Subaru Outback in which i have installed a Sony XAV-AX5500 headunit. What would i type in as car etc,
It doesn't really matter you can even leave it blank if you want. The car model and make information goes there not the headunit information. I left it blank in the beginning and it still worked for me.
Hi. Thanks for the video. However, For my case, after connecting the carlinkit 5.0 with the laptop through USB, when I search the wifi in the mobile for the connection, I dont get the desired Autokit. It only gets in bluetooth, not wi-fi. Waiting for your guideline please

@@HarryWTI have the same pblm... when you choose to check for updates you are prompted to turn off Wi-Fi..then when you select to check update you are stuck in a loop with the same message to turn off Wi-Fi...but it is turned off.
Unfortunately, the only way to play youtube and netflix is to use android ai boxes. These devices however will simply convert wired to wireless without changing any other functionality.

@@HarryWT I've already tried it, howerver I have a different issue with the app, the downloading stuck at 70% hence I closed the app, then upgrade fails at 4%. I guess I need to reset my device and try downloading again.
@@HarryWT at 2:25 I disabled WiFi and enabled cellular data but kept getting that error message. I repeated the steps multiple times but ended up having to use my wife's iPhone 14 Plus. Worked the first time with her iPhone. The device I was trying to use was an OnePlus 12 and it wasnt working with the device previously which is what prompted me to do the firmware update. Now it works with my OnePlus, just odd that I had to use an iPhone to fix it.

Ohhh. I'm not aware of any such issue. However, if the issue persists, try resetting the unit to factory and then try updating it. Perhaps the update didn't go through properly due to some technical issue.

unfortunately, we get very limited options. If there was a developers option available then yes, it would have been great.
