One of the best reviews for the gunfighter mk3 I have seen yet. Thanks for taking the time to put it together it is making me itch to spend some money.
Thank you for this great review. I gotta tell you, that you got my thumbs up before you even started the stick review...but right after you talked about your Patron account. I speaks well of your character...and UA-cam needs more people like you. The review...made me wished there were 2 thumbs I could have given.
the VKB style connection allows the stick to be a couple centimeters lower to the table compared to the thrust-master connection. very useful if your not using desk mounts.
I really like the gunfighter, it has been a great gimbal. And if you prefer the thrustmaster sticks, you can actually buy a fairly cheap package from VKB that converts the thrustmaster sticks to the gunfighter base.
Been looking forward to another VKB vid from you. So glad to see this one. Got a GNX from your previous reviews. Love it. Though I'd love the customizability of the Mk. III as well, my current skills, or lack thereof, and time to use them, doesn't justify the expense right now. And yes, get that dang TECS throttle out, VKB!
Congrats on the new home.I'm now really giving some thought to dual stick for space sims. Thanks for the work and effort you put in to help blokes like me by sharing your thoughts and experiences.
Hello, I upgraded my NXT grip to a Gunfighter compatible SCG grip recently. They doesn’t have the conversion kit in store, but I contacted the manufacturer and they let me buy one. I guess it’s because I live in China near their base so the shipment can be very convenient.
hi and ty for share. i don't understand the aviaH. what is the meaning af these cams?i tried , and there is a cloc!sound every time i move the stick;didn't like it.

Hello mister, your information on the peripherals is fascinating and informative ... I would like however to know if important difference of feeling with the model gladiator nxt and even handle "kosmosima" but with the base gunfighter mk3 ....? that complicated grip for people with large hands even without palm rest ...?
The grip is identical between the two, and for large hands, there ya a built in hand rest, and it works well enough. I absolutely love the gunfighter, it's a wonderful gimbal, outside of perhaps fssb gimbals the gunfighter is the best.
Not familiar with Knobbs. The price difference is 100% justified and worth it. The gimbal (the most important part) is made of all metal. Is completely customizable, can use extensions, easily swappable grips. It's the best spring/cam gimbal on the market.
Yeah they just pull off. The hat toppers take a bit more effort than the analog stick, but they will come off. I much prefer the cupped cap for my analog stick.
hi falcon, my project is to buy this base ( i have nxt scg premium). Do you think its a material heavy to buy like a second hand product a man in my region sell the mk3, he play 2 years with.

I currently have 2 t16000's. I love the t16000's w/ Star citizen, but I'm looking to upgrade to some VKB's. I prefer dual sticks, so would you recommend 2 Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Space Combat sticks, or one VKB Gladiator NXT Premium and one Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Space Combat Edition’ Premium? Love the videos! keep up the great content. I think that setup would cost me around $530. Also, are the base mounts in this video from the VKB website? I didn't see those mounts on the VKB website. I would really only need a simply base mount for the Gunfighter stick because the NXT base mount looks good to go for my setup.
The video was from their UA-cam channel. So the GNXs are awesome sticks, and you will love them, however, if you want more longevity, and much more customizability, then the gunfighters are superior in just about every way. It's all in how much you want to spend. The Gunfighter is the best gimbal I've ever used.
Bought one of these today from the Australian warehouse. I'm going to pair it with a TWCS as a placeholder until the TECS finally releases (if it ever does). Not too keen on going the Virpil throttle as it's insanely expensive in Australia.
@@scottkarwowski1144 I live in the U.S. and ordered a control panel from Virpil last month. It was about 3 weeks until it was delivered. Everything shows backordered on their site. It's just the way their new ordering system works.
I did the same thing. I'm actually really enjoying the TWCS, more than I thought I would. Might use it until it completely falls apart, and by that time, the TECS should hopefully be released. :) But the Gunfighter Mk. III SCG is amazing, one of the best purchases I've made in terms of peripherals.
These two sticks are direct competitors. The Gunfighter is better than the WarBrd, and better than the T50cm2, because it has features that aren't available in those gimbals. The new CM3 may be equal or slightly better than the gunfighter, as Virpil added a clutch on each axis. Either way they are competitive. Top end to top end

Maybe the Gladiator mk2 upgrade kit might help you out. I bought the upgrade kit for my mk2, kit only was about $20.00. I can't say much more about it because it's been sidelined since I got my Gunfighter mk3 F-14.
So there has been no new info put out on the TECS, I'm hoping it will be in the near future but no way to know. In the mean time I've got a Winwing Orion Throttle, and I've filmed some stuff on a hotas config for star citizen just last week. It's kinda complicated because I am doing a hotas config a hosas config and a hosas plus throttle config.
I for one am eagerly awaiting the results of mounting rhe virpil grip on Gunfighter mount. Because if that works then so should winwing and I really want the F-16ex
Yeah... that VKB throttle is still a bit of a pipe-dream in early May 22... They do still insist on the forum that it's not vaporware (which I believe), and seeing how difficult it is to do business with China due to their zero-COVID policy, I also believe them when they talk about unforeseen obstacles in bringing this thing to market. I'll just wait a little longer and try and save a bit more, so I can get the cheapest version that includes their electronic detents. With the planned features and innovations (and the promised price points), this thing should be a bit of a no-brainer for people like me who want something better than a TM TWCS, but don't want to sink $/€500 into that Virpil throttle. As much as I love my VKB NXT Evo, I do agree that customer support seems a bit lacking. I'm still waiting for the soft and hard springs that were missing from my example and despite multiple promises that they would be shipped "this week", I still don't have them - over a month after I bought the stick.
@@FalconsLedge First of all: Thanks for the reply and suggestion. Much appreciated. :) Nope, haven't used discord for that yet, but I did ask on their forum and emailed Eduard (VKB EU rep) about those springs and another inquiry I had. They did reply through both of these channels, but like I said: So far, all the promised dates when the springs were supposed to be shipped out came and went - and they're not volunteering any updated info on this. I feel kinda silly inquiring for a fourth or fifth time because of some silly springs, but I probably should since they said they now had them in their EU warehouse and would send them out "this week", but ... :) I'm also wondering if I'm the only one who bought the KG-12 version of the Evo, since that's the model that had the additional springs missing on all examples in the first shipments they received from China. And so far, I've not read any other complaints on the forum. Oh well .... first world problems, huh? ;)
@@1SaG yeah but if first world problems, I like discord as a method of communication with companies. Definitely keep in mind that things in China the last few months have been extremely challenging, so if there was I time if cut slack, it's probably now, however, definitely keep pursuing the matter in confident it will get resolved.
@@FalconsLedge Well... further posts on their forum are now being ignored and my email to the EU-rep from about a week ago hasn't been answered, either. According to him posting on April 24th, they supposedly had received the shipment on April 22nd and were "going to send them out next week" (April 25th - May 1st). Today is May 9th and I live about 200km away from their NL-warehouse. I don't mind being told the truth, what I do mind is being ignored when I have a valid inquiry/complaint.
