Heart to Heart International travels to Florida in response to Hurricane Helene

Volunteers and employees of Heart to Heart International left their Lenexa facility Friday morning to head for the Tallahassee area to assist with recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene.

We actually moved from our hometown in Kansas City there to Florida a couple years ago.
We have now been through a few hurricanes since. First one we actually evacuated cause we didn’t know what to expect lol 🤪
This one came pretty darn close to us though. Only 20min away is the coastal area where major destruction hit 😔
Lots of massive wind gusts and heavy blowing winds.
Glad to see they are heading this way to help out everyone in need. ❤
