The reason why baird is Pissy when you first meet him is because he had just lost most of his squad, and the reason why Cole gets upset after the resonator goes off is because basically his squad died for almost nothing.
Which squad was Baird in before meeting Marcus? I forgot.
I know he and Cole were in the Kilo squad back in Judgement but that was long time ago

That's because they game is based in our own future. The locust are the locust from Revelations. In Gears 2 Carmine says to Dom and Marcus that one guy in Basic training believed Locust were from one of the moons. That's true, there's two moons on Earth, but we are told only about one.

A remaster is when they take the original game and just tweak it a little bit, this right here is a remake. A remake is when they totally rebuild from the ground up

This is absolutely a remake. They have rebuilt the game from scratch, pretty much only used the original audio otherwise everything else is brand spankers.

GOW 1 Benjamin died from a sniper
GOW 2 Antony died from the little tiny grubs and got his guts out
GOW 3 I think it was Clayton who survives
GOW 4 Clayton dies from a explosion
The fourth brother is unknown probably until the next gears of wars game
Azan Khan got it wrong Anthony got sniped, Benjamin got ripped, Clayton did survive and Claytons son got exploded
This brings back so many good memories😭😭

Especially that one mission with the berserker as a 5 year old who played this back then that gave me nightmares

I love when Marcus has to get serious with Cole when they’re trying to find an entrance into imulsion factory. I think that’s the only time in the entire series where Cole backs away from another man/creature.

This is such a classic. I remember coming home in 2006 when I was 14 to find out we’d got a 360, but I was annoyed we hadn’t got Saints Row with it but instead this which I’d never heard of.
I completed it but didn’t appreciate it at the time until I got the UE with my Xbox One and replayed it - it’s an original game with memorable characters, interesting visuals and design with smooth, fluid and fun gameplay.
Scary to think its been 13 years.
Gears 1 and 2 were perfect. True heroism and strength and pure action entertainment
So many added and changed cut-scenes in this version. Part of the whole mystery is spoiled in the end too, in the original I'm pretty sure they never showed the queen like that.

They never showed her, period. We didn't get to see how the queen looked like until the second game right before we have to fight Skorge in a chainsaw duel.

It was just a Theron on the original, but the queen is shown in the remastered because we already seen her in the series, in 2006 they had no design for her until GOW2
@@blue_rum3697 couldn't have been Karn. He was killed in judgment which take place before gears 1. Plus in the original gears it was just a theron.

This one really lacks story compared to the others. I think it makes up for it with the horror aspects though, playing this on insane in the dark with the music loud is no joke.
Story may be lacking, but the gameplay is extremely satisfying and the world building/lore is neat.

One touch I like for Ultimate Edition has to be the fact of adding content from the PC exclusive levels and cutscenes, as well as adjustments here and there, like showing Myrrah on the Tempest instead of some no name Theron and a Reaver after RAAM's death and the launch of the Lightmass Bomb.

I know that judgment wasn't planned in that time, but a fun fact is that Baird complains about Marcus's promotion and he was told he'd never been given a promotion again because of his "actions" in Halvo, so he will be always a private 😂

I still remember the first time I played this game my step brother and I where playing the battle against each other and I didn’t even know how to do anything after that we played the second game and I got better then we played the third one and so on but I could never forget that this game made me the gammer I am today so I always say thank you to game bye now ✌🏾

one of the best shooters on the 360,kind of disappointed in the Ultimate Edition thought it would have all three games, all dlc, all mp maps including weapons and characters, the whole ultimate package like the MC collection.

The new scenes explain the train so much better than the original. Before you went straight from recovering tunnel data to jumping onto a locust occupied bomb train with no explanation about whats happening.
I just wish they'd added something about marcus's dad though. Sure, as a player I know why adam had maps of the locust tunnels, but it's really weird that none of the characters even question marcus's father randomly having such information. For that matter, it was also never explained why one of adams geobots was sitting on the floor in an immulsion mine.

The original Gears of War campaign for the Xbox 360 had campaign chapters taken out.
The original pc version had those chapters.
Gears of War Ultimate had those campaign chapters put in in the Gears of War Ultimate. They are called Lost chapters.

The first time I beat The Berzerker tomb stage with my uncle, I was like 11 years old, It gave me a mini PTSD for a week.

Marcus fenix looks younger BTW by at least 5 years which makes him look overratedly different and as not as strong, you almost never see him with his eyebrows all the way up, in this game you do which makes him look scare, and scared was almost never the definition for Marcus fenix, only time he was when he noticed domain and his father were
gonna die, and that's when if any time his eyebrows were all the way up, ...and maybe when he saw RAAM
because TBH RAAM is pretty scary even in this game
