I love your take on Dake’s Bible. I was recently given a “vintage” copy and find it useful but had not till this video found a quick summary of the controversy surrounding it. Thanks so much!

I just want to thank you guys for approaching Dakes in a non-judgmental way. So many channels are quick to pounce on any errors and conclude the entire work is invalid.
The same logic can be used to refute the Textus Receptus, and the Codex Vaticanus & Sinaiticus and most , if not all, of the work of Westcott & Hort.

A Nickels Worth is an excellent UA-cam channel. So, that's why I came here.
The definition of Covenant Theology given by Pastor Tim Nickels is very inaccurate. There is certainly place for Israel in Covenant Theology. All the Jews have to do is believe that Jesus is the Christ, they are saved.
Why don't Dispensationalists notice that Jesus Christ called 12 Jewish Apostles, with Matthias replacing Judas. A further 70 Jews were sent out as well. So, Jesus Christ did not call only Gentiles into his church.
The Jewish leaders rejected their Messiah. As a result, the Temple was destroyed. So, how do Jews become redeemed? In Christ.
Thus, the Church is Jews and Gentiles, not just Gentiles.
Finally, every single Pre-Millennialist, Amillennialist and Post-Millennialist before the 19th Century was a Covenantalist. Was the Christian Church wrong about the identity of the Church since its founding? I think not.
Now, we have a situation where Christian Zionists support a secular socialist Israel where very few Jews are have faith in Theistic Judaism. It is LGBTQ+ central in the Middle East. AIPAC controls the US Government. Orthodox Jews and Secular Jews who reject the political system called Zionism, which did not exist before the mid-19th Century, are now being called Anti-Semites by Christian Zionists.
Does Jesus Christ really want to set up a secular socialist state in the Holy Land? Did the Apostle Paul expect that? Or, did Paul expect Jews to don't to Christ?
I won't go so far as to call Dispensationalism a heresy because there are good Christians who are Dispensationalists, like Pastor Tim Nichols. However, there is not way that I can believe Paul would desire Jews to believe Jesus is the Christ, yet would accept a Christ-rejecting secular nation called Israel.
    I remain a Covenantalist.

What is the printing date of each of those? My understanding was that the genuine leather was discontinued about four years ago. Thumb tabs? These are not the large print versions it appears. Most likely the large note at 8.5 point.

Only detractors of covenant theology call it "replacement " theology. They view the church as the continuation and fulfillment of Israel and not as a replacement. The foundation of the church built on Christ is the Apostles and prophets...all of Israel, not of the nations...but the believers of the nations were grafted into the one olive tree of Israel and the original branches were broken off for unbelief/ disobedience...and they can be grafted back into it at anytime. One people of God from beginning to end....fulfillment not replacement. The Church was in the old testament...it is just that it became the body of Christ at Pentecost. This is continuity is some ways and discontinuity in other ways...the discontinuity comes in regarding the Mosaic Law...it is has been consummated in Christ and no longer in force as Law for the believer. It is still profitable for instruction etc but we are not under the law of Moses. Rather we live in the Law of Christ by the empowerment of the grace of the Holy Spirit. I still find usefulness in the Dake bible...I just filter it through historic Orthodoxy. God bless.

God made specific promises to the nation of Israel that do not apply to the church. He will keep His promises.

What is "strange" above your opinion "strange"? Dake deny his involvement with the girl. Dake was dead by the time his family change the notes, not like the Mormons stuff. Debunked? Not one of his notes are debunked, it is because your beliefs don't work well with him. If you chose the respond the my comment I will offer my Phone No. And I will tell you about the Man you called "strange"
