Jorge Prado exploded into the top tier after back-to-back MX2 title wins. Follow the determined young Spaniard as he gets to grips with the heightened intensity of riding in MXGP. Absolutely love Prado, amazing talent with such a smooth riding style and technique. He’ll be a champion for sure. And he’s also a holeshot machine and always out front. If he stays healthy at 100% this year he can be a threat.

I was hoping he would come to the US and try his hand at SX . But I really believe if he can stay healthy when it’s all said and done he has more championships than the Bullet does. Kid has crazy speed!
Everyone is fascinated with SX. MX is so much better. These guys are amazing at what they do. Serious skills to ride that fast.
@@robertsouthee6030 Well yeah, of course it's amazing! I still prefer SX because I just find the riding more interesting. But MXGP is just as big as SX, although more in Europe. Thing is they require slightly different skills so switching disciplines would be a huge risk

Yeah, you described Roczen's journey: Money, a lot of fans, but a lot of risk, critical injuries and not getting that SX title. The guy won MX2 World championship at 15. It would've been a completely different story on Europe, he's one of those in a million, would've been one of the greatest ever. Definitely risking it all on SX it's usually not worth it.
Absolutely. Why would you go to shitty America when he can stay in Europe and race at the most iconic tracks in picturesque countries. Goes to America and goes backward.

Yeah... apparently he got it pretty bad, to the point where it was best for him to sit the remaining races out. Can't wait to see what he can do this season though! The guy is one of the most talented riders ever.

@@ogasi1798 Ok dr. Ogasi, he did an interview about it, if it gets to your lungs you have a hard time breathing, which is pretty important to run a 30+2 twice in one day. Besides that, you don't want every other rider or mechanic to start getting it. He'll have another shot next season, stop with the conspiracy theories already

They aren't better, just different. The Americana ride a ton of sx. So that's what they are good at. Most of the European guys couldn't come beat Cooper Webb on a sx track
I wonder if Prado will stay in Europe if he wins the title this year. He only just turned 20 and has basically won all there is to win in Europe. I guess I'm hoping that he gives SX a shot. If anyone can jump into the 450 class and do well within a year it's him

@@francescozane7600 I think those types of riders are gone, not because people have slowed down, but because the gap has closed due to people improving technique. And Americans focus on supercross, and the national tracks are way smoother than a gp track nowadays. Combine those 2 things and the GP riders definitely kick USA but in outdoors. But its an unfair comparison at this point because it's basically 2 different sports that the respective riders have focused on and perfected
@@pkake1319 Americans have always ridden sx the same as they do now and dominated mx also, even saying the fact they rode supercross made them better motocross riders because of the technical aspect of it. You have now 10 men in the mx1 that can win a race but there are some good talents coming like Vialle, Van den Moosdijck, Geerts, Guadagnini, De Wolf, Hofer, Benistant... if you now go to amerika it is not to become a better rider it is all for the money

This young man has IT. He could come to race in America and I suspect win ALOT. But American promoters don't want to pay so why would he. Got a feeling he will be Herlings and Cairoli...why leave comfort of their home to race here for less? I wouldn't.
