Lol. Now, after that bee attack I feel even more connected to Gabi. 😅 Just the other day, I too had a bee coming through my living room window. Which is crazy this time of year. It's very cold already in Germany. We're slowly approaching winter. And I was scared af, too. I even screamed. 🤭🙈 And this was only the second time, some insect like that came in for the almost 4 years I've been living here now. The first time, oddly enough was just a few weeks prior. ...
The scene where Christian tells John he has to sacrifice himself always makes me so sad. And John just strait up accepts it as a fact without asking any questions, because he believes this will help save the island and the people on it. He is a true hero in my eyes. As always a great reaction from you guys love from Bulgaria!
@@JacopoBasanisi He's clearly still surprised/in shock, otherwise he wouldn't have brought it up with Christian (hoping for a 2nd opinion and a different answer). Edited because I realised it was a tiny bit spoilery.
Thank you, @d.georgiev5371 , glad you enjoy the reactions! SPOILER I find it so sad, really. Regardless of how much he must have known already. I do think he's somehow a hero and it's really sad that he died thinking the opposite.

I think rope travelled in time with Sawyer because he was holding it. The same was true to the boats from last episode. They'd have drowned if the things they touch didn't go with them through time.
I definitely agree with you that the rope remaining in the ground is what prompts someone to dig that well right there. And that well was really old, which means after that flash and Sawyer is left holding the rope, they must be at a time in the ancient past. The smoke, yeah, that's still a question. What is it? Maybe we'll find out in time. 😃
Title in French: "Retour à l'Orchidée" (Return to the Orchid) Okay about the rope. "Tell them not to bring her. Listen carefully. Tell them not to bring her. There is nothing but death in this place." This is what Charlotte says to Jin in Korean. Montand has a Quebec accent while Danielle and Robert speak Parisian French.
So it turns out that Rousseau actually WAS a reliable narrator, for the most part. We witness pretty much everything she ever told us in this episode, which I love! It's a nice touch that we see Robert tell her the smoke is a security system...something she has no reason to doubt, so therefore repeats much later on when asked about it. But clearly something isn't quite right about this explanation. Robert, after all, seems to have been 'infected' in some way (like the now dead members of the team must have been) after disappearing into the hole, so we can't trust his word on anything. Locke, it seems, has become a sacrifice that the island demanded...this call-back to what he said about Boone's death is very apt. And it's admirable that he doesn't shirk this responsibility...I don't think Boone would have sacrificed himself and climbed up to the plane if he 100% knew he would die because of it. As for the rope, I really do love the theory that it caused the well to be dug in the past, but SPOILERS.... SPOILERS!!! ....the MIB tells Jacob that they've found places all over the island where "metal behaves strangely" and that when they find them, they dig! So this may have been the main reason they dug a well in this spot (so close to the eventual Orchid location)...of course, it could have been a combination of this AND the rope.
I like the theory of being both! It's cool to think about the sacrifice the island demanded. I'll try to remember that for a discussion in some video. Oh, I'm glad Rousseau narrated that with some precision too!

15:16 AAND another timecode with 2 numbers. 😅 I'm on fire today, but I HAD to make a comment about this moment as well. Because this is a very important moment to me. See, I've been a fan of Ben ever since season 3. I always thought there was probably more to his character and that maybe he's just misunderstood. But I love how much in control he always was, even if it meant manipulating people. But how he LOSES control here is quite astounding. It shows that he, too has feelings. And for the first time he just can't take it anymore and so it bursts out of him and very rightfully so imo ....

We somehow have an explanation of what Danielle considered “the illness”. Judging from what Robert said, maybe it was the other’s “brainwashing”, so not really something health related. Or maybe the others are all sick… I love how the answers come if you pay attention. Also, Robert didn’t try to kill Danielle, it was the other way around, as I understood the scene. I mean, I guess they returned and started talking about Jacob and the monster, she reacted violently. Ben keeps on toying with the characters and with us! Well. Locke is toying with the characters too: “Why bring Sun back?” “Because she never should have left”. If I were Jin, I would have shot Locke on the spot. My wife and daughter are safe, what the hell is this crazy man talking about? 3:20 The “Dharma part” of the explanation was given in the Lost Experience, after season 2. In an indirect way, they explained why those numbers were broadcasted. 26:36 actually, the name Jack derives from the name John! But yes, they have a common origin in some variant of Jacob. Just like my name!
Yeah, that whole Danielle/Robert dynamics is affected by: what she told Sayid, what we created in our minds, what we think we remember, and what we see now. So much can twist the truth!
Yes, Danielle's crew is dead, actor studio is safe now :D Don't miss their over pronunciation (nobody speak like that, I mean, no french over pronounce like that, it hurt my hears), I don't understand why they chose them, I mean, Melissa Farman (young Rousseau) she spoke good french, barely no accent (she lived in Paris) no over pronunciation, really good choice, but the other "french" have bad acting and Quebec accent (I love Quebecois, love their "funny" accent, but it's not sounds french, like I can't be Canadian character in movie, if I was actor ^^), it's weird because in this show they are good to match characters accents with actors (Sawyer have a hillbilly accent, Des, Daniel Charlotte, Charlie, Penny, Widmore (young and hold), Eloise (young and hold), are British in the show and IRL, Mr Eko works his accent to fit) but for them nope, maybe they thought that sounds good (in French version, Rousseau's crew are German, french name but OK, it's possible, my name isn''t french). Funny things, in the next episode (316) there is a French actor (Caesar, Said Taghmaoui). And of course, the french crew have stereotypical french name, that's funny, nobody's named Robert here since 1970, but it's an american show, so french have stereotypical names, eat baguette, smokes and swear (this one is quite right :D but american did a lot too ^^). Spoil : 25:33 I do. 😅
Oh, by your description it must be a little distracting, yeah. I can see how it must be easier for them to cast actors with British accent and make it believable. But well, I guess it's part of the job to also cast decent foreign language speakers, right? I don't know, there's so much going on when producing a show like that, but yeah, it would be better with native speakers actors, perhaps!

Ótimo vídeo como sempre. Comenta como eles sobre a Rousseau não lembrar do Jin no próximo episódio. Se não me engano eles nunca se encontram na série, o mais próximo é quando a Rousseau vai pro acampamento no final da temporada 1.
This is correct...they never officially meet...when Danielle steals Aaron, Jin is on the raft, when They trek to the Radio tower, Jin is on the beach waiting to shoot the tents, when they would meet Danielle in the jungle Jin was never with them. The closest they came to meeting was when Jack had Danielle test the explosives, but that was in a crowd of people. Remember it wouldn't matter if Jin met Danielle in 2004, because he had not met her in the past yet, it only matters if Rousseau had the chance to meet Jin. However, even if they had met, 16 years have passed by. Most people cannot give a good description of someone they just met. Just another amazing job by the LOST writers of accounting for potential time loop problems.
@@tony.g20İf you watch the beginning of "exodus part 1" you will see that Rousseau was looking directly into Jin's eyes while she was telling her story...
