Some say Geno is too demanding, etc. If he weren't demanding UConn would not be in the NCAA tourney, in the Sweet 16, in the Elite 8, in the Final Four, and won as many championships as they have. Let's face it, overall, the Big East is not NCAA tourney competition training (neither was that Atlantic whatever UConn was in for awhile). UConn has to rise above their conference to play Tennessee, Indiana, NC State Stanford, etc. And it is evident UConn is a cog or two short when it comes to South Carolina. Give SC their due. SC has a tremendous program with hard nosed coaching, hard nosed and skilled playing. 2022-23 will be interesting watching.
