Train#2 is 116, formerly 490, headed for the Holy Sub. Train#3 would be using the train number Z646 at that point in their journey. Train#8 is 765 out of Durand. Excellent video, thanks for sharing it.
I know, they run almost strictly on signals unless they need special instructions for something. I recognize some of them after watching trains around here the last ten years. Csx makes it a lot easier to catch their trains. Its just too bad they barely have any traffic through here.
Has Amtrak ever upgraded the station in East Lansing? It was a major disappointment to leave from that little pole barn on Harrison for a trip to Toronto back in 1992. Then again all I have to compare it with is leave from the Grand Trunk station on South Washington for a trip to Detroit in 1968.
Good stuff! I'd like to see the JAIL connect lansing with the michigan line (wolverine) with passenger trains. I feel like that would only happen if the track becomes abandoned.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks for the info Jason, Seems like there's a lot less scanner chatter from CN, so it's harder to get their symbols

Yes, a new station opened a year or two later.
Awesome! The Jackson and Lansing Railroad is my favorite railroad. DUH!
Did the eastbound NS train on the CNRR line come from Battle Creek?.
I think that is just a regular CN freight that has NS run through power.
Could be out of Battle Creek, or Chicago.
Neat New Brunswick unit. Why was it down here?
I think it was going to Peaker Services in Brighton
It looks like the Adrian and Blissfield is stopping at the Golden Harvest for breakfast.

If it becomes abandoned... I don't know what I would do with myself.
