The image selector feature is pretty damn good! It sorta makes me believe that Google wasn't just implementing privacy features because Apple just did. Specially since they'll be making it work on android 11 too, that's good!
Nice thank god i finally got the update to 12 a month ago ...
I am still at 11 🗿
* laughs in iOS * yeah, good luck androcrap users
@@Shadowolf1230 man why the hate cant we all just get along and have fun with our things we like? The android v iphone war is stupid
@@jesuscastillo4020 i’m not hating. Just thinking android is crap.
@@Shadowolf1230 well thats ur opinion so its good 👍👍
I'm running Android 12 on my Pixel 4 XL and 6 Pro. 12L on my Pixel 5, I can't wait for 13!
The most exciting thing about this update is the name
Not even sure about the name. Overall very underwhelming.
Every year I hope for them to allow you to have the date in the status bar, a unified weather API so Google's weather and any other app that has a weather component will display the same temperature. Android 12 broke tapping outside of apps in the recents menu to go back to the home screen (for 3rd party launchers) so that would be great to get back as well. Finally allow 3rd party launchers to include the Google Discovery page without a 2nd app install (its been years, why is this still a thing?). I would also like to see auto-rotate on the AOD. I'm sure there are more but its not like Google will read this or care anyway. 🤷♂️
im excited more about 12L and how it can help tablets, and optimization of apps for bigger sreen
Yes agreed but app developers still need to implement it and optimize their apps. For so long and even to this day android apps lag behind their counter parts.
@@pattycarljackson how? Even on tablets things have gotten wayy better. But i still see this same argument all the time and it's not even based.
@@wildechap it’s not an argument it is a fact.
@@pattycarljackson I call it an argument because, from experience it does not match up.
@@wildechap it does though. I use both on a daily basis and some of the best apps I use on IOS you can't get on Android and the alternatives are just not there not even close. Like on my iPad and iPhone I use notability and nothing on Android comes close to it.
Wow ! It sounds like a great update. I hope they expand upon multitasking and the use of ai and Google assistant
I know it may be a pipedream but I'd really like Google to try some type of utility that would go toe to toe with Samsung Dex.
Bro please answer my question
What I install Android 12 in Vivo y50 please
Very good
They should just add a dark mode for icons, they are 2 years and a half late at this moment
Geez I'm still on 11 and just got that last month
Me watching on my Android 10 Galaxy S9: Very interesting!
Stop buying Galaxies. Buy Pixel and you'll get quick updates.
@@Lobanium i have a Galaxy s10 and have Android 12 for over a month.
And even Samsung now offers longer Software Support for their phones than Google for their Pixel
@@Lobanium dude Samsung just announced thst s21 will get up to a15 and the new s22 will get up to a16
@@Lobanium nah Samsung is doing more than what Google is doing when it comes to updates
@@marwin436 hell even the s20 series will still be getting updates
Jeez!🤯 I'm still waiting on an OTA update to Android 12 for my OnePlus 7 Pro! 🤬
You're not the only one 😅
Lmfao good luck OnePlus is not what they used to be. Which is why I left my 8t
@@whysoserious4464 True! 🤣
Good
I get that Google needs to put out an OS, but Google really needs to focus more on fixing android 12.
Maybe you're new with android lifecycle, but after stable release, it's basically security update and fixes. any UI and API changes warrants version upgrade like 7.1.1/7.1.2/8.1/12L
This is why getting a phone that has years of OS upgrade is crucial. It gives a good base for custom ROM as well by cutting down time to get a working build like Pixel phones
@@haziqsembilanlima I'm not new to the android lifecycle. If you remember, we never got a developer preview until after Google IO. They are putting the DP out earlier. There are bugs in android 12. I just think that they should focus more on fixing what is already there.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm Italian and tiramisù is my favorite dessert.
Hopefully they add more features on 13 rather than visual refresh like 12.
12 has a lot of great features, but they are overshadowed by something better.
@@ravitejaknts 12 looks like a fugly mess.
I really really hope they switch back the accessibility. Shortcuts to a gesture instead of the useful but annoying pins that scroll across your sides of your screens that you select to use them. It was so much nicer when it was a two-finger swipe up to access, please please bring the gesture back or the least the option
Dude I agree it's so miserable now 😫💀
@@Joshua97776 I can't imagine this option being that hard to incorporate since it was already an Android 11. We just need to get the right people at Google to be aware.
& I've still not received android 12 on my OnePlus 9 Pro 😑
I still have android 11...
Got the android 12 now three weecks😶😐
Still no icon pack natively 🙄🙄
I really hope they change the horrible two color back and white notification panel. Make it all the same color and/or add a blur like OneUI. Blur with recents would look better too.
There should be an option to reduce animation to 0.5x without turning on developers mode and digging deep into developer settings. 😔
BRING BACK TWO BUTTON NAVIGATION!!!
After ignoring the Pixel 4 / 5 due to the reviews and switching to the Pixel 6, out of necessity, it's a shame to realize that the option is gone. I'm not sure if it's more so hardware related, but it's sorely missed.
But after using my Pixel 3A with the Android 12 update AND two button navigation still active, I'm convinced that it's just better than full gesture navigation. And yes, better than the traditional three button setup.
BRING IT BACK!!!
Official Android is now the new CyanogenMod.
Not even close. CM theme engine FAR exceeded Material You. It didn't just add an accent color to system apps.
Lmfao wrong
Wasn't meant to be a compliment guys.
Now I want dessert....
I really want that lock/unlock animation and two line clock in one ui, samsung pleaaaaaaaaaaasssssseee
This feels early lol
Android TicTac
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!!!!!!!
This is in google pixel 6, so the hell with the preview, you ve just launched A 12, wtf? Now A13?
Deal with it
Meanwhile we haven't even gotten Android 12
Android 13 won't be final until August or September. Still plenty of time 😅
This is something that you have agreed when you paid money to buy an Android. So be wary when Samsung says 4 years update ;) They're not coming on the first day. Maybe 1 year later for each of the updates lol.
Noice 😁
So they bringing the desserts back or what!?
Not so interesting its more like an update of andriod 12. Looks like andriod 12.5
This is still the developer preview
Judging way too early still
Don't forget about all the features that will be rolled into Android 13 from Android 12L
So basically it's all about AI.
