Because of this, he was unable to graduate on time and in Indian society you are always pressured to be successful and not disappoint your parents. The senior was very depressed and this whole song sequence was to help cheer him up and tell him that "all is well", but when they flew the drone up to his room to surprise him they saw that he committed suicide :(
