MADHUKORI: An Ancient #baul Practice.
Every year, two months before Sanatan Siddhashram’s Annadan on the appearance day of Parvathy Maa’s Guru Sri Sanatan Das Thakur, Parvathy Maa and ashramites start going around the nearby villages to do the ancient Baul practice of Madhukori.
The rice specially collected in these Madhukoris in this period is used to feed all the villagers (5,000 - 7,000 people) who will come to celebrate Sanatan Baba in the bhogaroti rituals and receive the sacred prasad (blessed food).
This year, the Annadan will happen on 26th and 27th of January. The two-day festival is a sacred opportunity to serve the ancient Baul tradition. It is a spiritually enriching experience for all who participate.

উনি বোলপুরে থাকেন।ওখানেই ওনার আশ্রম।আশ্রমের আশে পাশেই ওনার মাধুকরী র জায়গা।কলকাতায় আসেন তো অনুষ্ঠান করতে।মাধুকরী করতে আসা কলকাতায় সম্ভব না।আর শহরে সেই পরিবেশ ও থাকে না।
